In this review, Brother Eli Soriano gives the youth Bible lesson about what to do in their formative years. He‍‌‍‍ stated that living according to the teachings of Jesus and the gospel principles is the best way.

We are requested in Philippians 1:27 to live our life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. For young people, it implies something significantly greater than merely adhering to ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌rules. It means living in such a way that shows their true self. The phrase “conversation” here has to do with how they behave day-to-day.

Teenagers these days have problems with peer pressure, social media, and identity. One‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ of the things that they have to do is to connect themselves with the teachings of Jesus. According to Brother Eli, the laws of Moses were given for a certain purpose but Jesus came with a different message which was all about love and ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌compassion. It encourages young people to be nice and decent.

To live in a way that is worthy of the gospel is to be careful of their choices and how those choices affect them and others. What this means is to work towards your goals while helping one another and safeguarding what you believe.

For teens, it is very important to live by these values. Most students can influence other students around them. It is possible for them to either create violence and mischief, or create an atmosphere of respect and peace. If they can walk through the teenage years with the lessons of the gospel, then they have a good chance for a better future.

Why don’t we begin by helping our children deepen their faith? When people have that faith strength and power, they will be able to find the right way by themselves. Childhood and adolescent faith forms the foundation not only for their future to come but also for how they will bond with people around them.
