La iniciativa de la comunidad nos propone como tópico del tercer día de agosto a reflexionar en torno a una pregunta que a mi parecer es interesante y necesaria de explorar desde diferentes puntos de vista: “¿Cómo la tecnología puede promover la justicia social?”
No es para nadie un secreto que Hive es mucho más que una blockchain con enfoque social por decirlo de algún modo. Su estructura propone una perspectiva innovadora en medio de todo el entorno blockchain, aunque de esto ya se ha hablado mucho y no pretendo en este artículo recobrar palabras ya dichas, no se trata de definir a Hive o explicar su funcionamiento y estructura, sino, que lo que pretendo con estás línea, es esbozar una perspectiva en función de lo que puede ser la edificación de una justicia social que parte de lo digital y abarca zonas que trascienden las pantallas.
Ante todo pido al lector que me permita iniciar con una suerte de apología de Hive en el sentido que nos propone soluciones a problemas a asuntos que la mayoría de las personas aún no consideran como problema, por lo que el trabajo de quienes nos decimos entusiastas de la cadena bloques es doble, por un lado de concientizar y develar las problemas existentes pero no contemplados y a su vez, comunicar la solución que Hive y el ecosistema web3 nos presenta.
En el sentido de la justicia social creo podemos iniciar expresando el asunto de la distribución de la riqueza, aunque de manera previa habría que hablar de la creación y definición de lo que concebimos como riqueza. Hoy por hoy, en los anillos más bajos de la sociedad se tiene la idea que la libertad se alcanza con dinero (cuando realmente no es tan así), pero, ¿qué es el dinero? La historia nos ha mostrado incontables veces que el dinero puede ser lo que sea, solo que en el mismo modo que la sociedad va mutando, la utilidad del dinero y lo qué sea que se designe como tal va cambiando, me parece curioso que está a mi parecer estrechamente ligado con el modo en el cual se mueve la comunicación, pero eso es otra historia…

Volviendo al punto que nos atañe, como protocolo blockchain, Hive responde de manera matemática a una programación previamente pensada, por lo que la emisión y distribución de las fichas sobre las cuales recae el “valor” es algo que está pensado y desde la descentralización que caracteriza a Hive y todo que dice llamarse web3, es algo, que no hay manipulación parcializada y se eliminan los intermediarios desde la creación y distribución con la emisión de cada bloque de la cadena hasta las simples transacciones cotidianas persona a persona y la custodia de los activos.
Además que, la capa social de donde se distribuye el 65% de los activos emitidos es algo que depende de la comunidad, o en otras palabras de los socios que técnicamente es todo aquel que posea dos condiciones, tener una billetera de Hive y poseer Hive Power.
En el mundo, el sistema incentiva un modo de transacción al que estamos estocolmicamente atrapados, intercambio de mi tiempo por dinero, al que llamamos salario. Entrego mi vida a cambio de fichas que me permitirán tener un rango de acción en la sociedad. ¿Acaso no es una suerte de esclavitud? Y aunque aún muchos dentro de web3 piensan de ese modo, creo que el ejemplo de Hive viene perfecto, porque, la capacidad de poder tener acceso a la distribución no depende de intercambiar tiempo de mi vida, sino que está supeditado a varios factores, por un lado, la producción de contenido orgánico, real y la interacción con otros, por otro lado, por la participación e influencia con la retención de activos.
Si se trata de politizar a modo tradicional (izquierda-derecha) a la blockchain Hive, debo decir que en sentido aristotélico Hive se encuentra en la tercera vida, y no es que con esto diga que Hive toma lo mejor de ambos mundos, sino que, en algún sentido parece que los trasciende. Pero es otra disertación, para otra ocasión.
Por lo que, en sentido de justicia social, no digo que Hive sea perfecto o resuelva todo sin equívocos, lejos de eso, si algo he visto con el tiempo es que Hive evoluciona con su gente, con quienes de verdad entienden que el proyecto es algo mucho más grande y que lo que construimos hoy no dará fruto necesariamente a corto plazo. No estamos frente a la panacea, pero, estamos frente a la apertura social que tiene el potencial de mover las bases y fundamentos del sistema, creando un impacto social, incentivando un trato más justo.

First of all, I ask the reader to allow me to begin with a sort of apology for Hive in the sense that it proposes solutions to problems that most people do not yet consider a problem, so the work of those of us who call ourselves blockchain enthusiasts is twofold, on the one hand to raise awareness and unveil the existing but not contemplated problems and in turn, to communicate the solution that Hive and the web3 ecosystem present us with. In the sense of social justice, I believe we can begin by expressing the issue of wealth distribution, although we should first talk about the creation and definition of what we conceive as wealth. Today, in the lower echelons of society there is the idea that freedom is achieved with money (when in fact it is not so), but what is money? History has shown us countless times that money can be anything, only that in the same way that society is mutating, the utility of money and whatever it is designated as such is changing, I find it curious that it is in my opinion closely linked to the way in which communication moves, but that's another story... Returning to the point that concerns us, as a blockchain protocol, Hive responds mathematically to a previously thought out programming, so the issuance and distribution of the tokens on which the “value” falls is something that is thought out and from the decentralization that characterizes Hive and everything that claims to be called web3, is something, that there is no biased manipulation and intermediaries are eliminated from the creation and distribution with the issuance of each block of the chain to the simple daily transactions person to person and the custody of the assets. Moreover, the social layer from which 65% of the issued assets are distributed is something that depends on the community, or in other words on the members, which technically is everyone who possesses two conditions, having a Hive wallet and possessing Hive Power.
