Está historia comenzó el sábado pasado cuando llegaba a casa a eso de las 7pm. Pues escucho un gato maullar y logro reconocer que se trata de un gato bebé, a pesar de la iluminación de la calle no logro ver donde esta, busqué mi powerbank que tiene linterna y comienzo a buscarlo.
Al encontrarlo me di cuenta que se trataba de un gato 😺 pequeño aproximadamente unos 3 meses de edad. Intento atraparlo pero es realmente agil y muy veloz.
Por lo que decidí solo acercarle un poco de comida y agua. Al otro día una vecina me dice que el gatito tenía un par de días en la calle y que era arisco por lo que nadie había podido atraparlo. Por lo que decidí comentarle a poner alimento en la entrada de mi casa se modo que se fuese acercando.
Al día siguiente descubrí que pasaba las noches en una pila de sacos blancos repletos de escombros que tenía un vecino a dos casa de la mía. Por lo que ayer le mencionaba a Zully y a mi mamá ¿Cómo hará cuando se lleven los sacos? Lo bueno es que muchos vecinos han estado realmente atentos con el gatito a pesar de no poderlo atrapar.
Hoy por la mañana, se acercó un vecino y me dice:
- César, si vas a agarrar el gato este es el momento. El sr. Carlos va a quitar los sacos de escombros.
-Voy Voy... Grité.
Tomé una toalla y aproveché estaba mi hijastra y le dije que me siguiera con el Kennel de Baguee..
Llegamos y comenzaron a quitar los sacos, yo muy atento. Cuando lo pude ver, estaba realmente asustado. Metí la mano con la toalla y lo logré atrapar. Enseguida lo metí dentro del Kennel y lo traje a casa.
Luego fuí a la tienda por alimento se cachorro y un atún en agua para también darle algo blando...
No sabemos si lo vamos adoptar y se quede con nosotros. Por ahora la misión es domesticarlo, atenderlo, llevarlo a veterinario y alimentarlo bien.
Cómo lo pueden ver en la foto está dentro del Kennel, es super lindo aunque se ve está un poco delgado. Una característica muy distintiva es que tiene heterocromia. No he podido observarlo bien, tiene los niveles de estrés muy altos, espero pueda estar un poco más calmado pronto, creo tiene lastimada la colita, espero que no. Ya estaré contando más de esta aventura felina.

# Storytime: Rescuing a Kitten🐱🐾 This story began last Saturday when I arrived home at around 7 p.m. I heard a cat meowing and recognized that it was a kitten, but despite the street lighting, I couldn't see where it was. I looked for my power bank, which has a flashlight, and started searching for it. When I found it, I realized it was a small kitten, about three months old. I tried to catch it, but it was really agile and very fast. So I decided to just bring it some food and water. The next day, a neighbor told me that the kitten had been on the street for a couple of days and was skittish, so no one had been able to catch it. So I decided to tell her to put food at the entrance to my house so that it would come closer. The next day, I discovered that it was spending the nights in a pile of white sacks full of rubble that a neighbor two houses away from mine had. So yesterday I mentioned to Zully and my mom, "What will it do when they take the sacks away?" The good thing is that many neighbors have been really attentive to the kitten despite not being able to catch it. This morning, a neighbor came up to me and said: "César, if you're going to catch the cat, now is the time. Mr. Carlos is going to remove the bags of debris." "I'm coming, I'm coming..." I shouted. I grabbed a towel and took advantage of the fact that my stepdaughter was there and told her to follow me with the Baguee Kennel. We arrived and they started to remove the bags, and I was very attentive. When I could see him, he was really scared. I reached in with the towel and managed to catch him. I immediately put him in the Kennel and brought him home. Then I went to the store for puppy food and tuna in water to give him something soft to eat... We don't know if we're going to adopt him and keep him with us. For now, the mission is to tame him, take care of him, take him to the vet, and feed him well. As you can see in the photo, he's inside the kennel. He's super cute, although he looks a little thin. One very distinctive feature is that he has heterochromia. I haven't been able to observe him well; his stress levels are very high. I hope he can calm down a little soon. I think his tail is injured, but I hope not.
