Yesterday was the first of the month, which is 1st November 2025. I learned about the power of today through some of the threads about the day. However, by that time, I had already published my blog about Splinterlands, so without any delay, I went ahead and powered up 100 Hive. Today, I am documenting that power up through this blog, and I think power up is very good for all of us in this community, where together we are trying to add more value in the ecosystem.
When we power up, we increase the quantity of the token, and in a way, we are reducing the supply, but not permanently. However, the circulation amount of the hive token reduces in the marketplaces, which are generally called exchanges. I also post often with a 100% power-up option used with blogs. This is also a good option because this way I can get more amount of HP, and there is no point keeping the liquid token in the form of HBD.
