SPS, also known as Splintershards, is a valuable coin for everyone who plays the Splinterlands game. This coin is valuable because for all the players, their reward is dependent upon how much SPS Power they have in the game, and accordingly, they are eligible for the Boost Multiplier. This is not just for the season-end reward, but it is also applicable to the daily reward that we earn through each winning battle. If I talk about in-game rewards, then we cannot ignore the value of the SPS coin in the game. The more SPS stake you have brings you the higher the reward, and that is why it is always a good idea to have a bigger stack of SPS coins in the game account, and those should be powered up and not in liquid form.
SPS Market Price
I was checking the price for SPS coin in the market, and currently it is less than $0.01, which is surely a good buying range in my opinion, because I believe that the SPS coin below 1 cent is the best deal, and I was able to buy a good chunk of coins a few months back. I invested in multiple coins in the crypto market, and SPS is one of them. Because I'm more associated with high ecosystem, so I have primarily invested in those coins, which also include Hive coin. Now I think I need to consider SPS because its price is low, and if you look at the overall game things are going good, which gives me confidence that so before that happens, I would like to buy another chunk of SPS coins and add it to my game account.
There are two benefits to holding the SPS coins in the game account. The other benefit that we get from returns on the holding and currently it is around 10 to 11 percent, which I think is not bad, and we should try to grab these benefits as much as possible.
My SPS Stack
Let me share my current SPS Stack in the game. The current holding of SPS in my account is approximately 116K coins, but I'm planning to make it 200K by the year-end of 2025. I also have some liquid coins available in the account, which I earned through gaming, so it is good to lock all those coins, which I have just done no,w because I think it's always good to lock all the coins available in liquid.
This page is updated because now I can see another chain on the page, which is BASE, and this is a new edition, but I think this edition is fantastic because now people have the option to buy SPS using USDC on Coinbase, and I would say it's significant. I'm expecting that it will be an easy process for anyone who wants to buy SPS through the base chain, and this chain is well known for the lowest transaction fee. The transaction settlement also happens in real time. I am more familiar with the BSC chain, but I think base is also a good idea, and I need to get familiar with this as well. I'll be spending some time on this chain to set up my account, and I'll see how I can get this done because most probably I'll be trying to use this chain for my next purchase, which I'll be doing in the next few weeks or maybe months, so I'm not sure of it as of now.

We can see that the game team is doing a great job of making multiple changes in the form of game experience, and they are also working on adding more blockchain networks to expand the accessibility of the coin and bring more people on board from an investment point of view. I don't know how difficult it is to add a new chain for any coin because I don't come from that background, but I'm sure it must require a lot of effort to get that done, and I appreciate what the team has done to bring the base chain to the game. Because I have not tried it till now, I cannot share my experience, but I'll be trying it soon to see how it goes, and will share my experience with buying SPS coin through the base network.
