In this Splindorlands game, we play battles using the cards, and these cards are basically NFTs having different rarities and abilities that can be used on the battleground. Every card is different and brings a different set of abilities. Because every card is different, we need to understand the utility and the use case of these cards and how we can use them in the best possible way to make the gaming better. I keep on learning about these cards and their different abilities, but still, there are so many cards that I'm not aware of. And I think this is going to be like this because the number of cards is very high. I'll never have complete knowledge about all the cards. But that's not important because at least I can get familiar with some of the cards that I regularly use. So one of the cards I am going to share in this blog is a great card to have for a better battle experience.
This is called CORNEALUS. It is a legendary card from the edition called Untamed, and it is part of the neutral element, which is good because all the neutral element cards can be used in most of the battles, as they are not from any specific element. Because it is a legendary card, it obviously brings more power and a higher possibility to win the battle if it is used properly according to the rules of the battle and placed at the right spot.
The one I have is the Max level card, and I got it from the rental market. Because this is a legendary card, the maximum level is 4, and it comes with a couple of abilities along with this. You can see in the image below that it has four abilities, which are -
- Heal
- Thorn
- Return Fire
- Magic Reflect
It is a range attack card, so it is not a good idea to place this card on the front unless the game rule set allows. And if you can place it in the second spot or probably at the last, it can be a good addition to the battle. Because it has the heal ability, it can heal its health with each round of attack, and the other three abilities give back to the opponent player a card, so no matter whether the card is from the melee range or even from the magic attack. The card comes with the mana cost of 10 and it has four attack power, which is good, while its health is 12 with the speed of three on the Max level. These stats can vary on different levels, I believe, because I use the Maximum level, so everything I receive is at the maximum level, which is why it might appear more powerful. And this is the reason why I encourage going with the Max level cards whenever possible.
Now let's talk about the card price in the market, and I have taken a snapshot of that page where you will be able to see that the maximum level card price is $135 with 11 BCX on Level 4. I think this is a good price for the card, and more or less, this price remains the same for the Max level card. However, if you go for the level one card, then you need to pay around $13. So in this way, I think going for the Max level gives you a better price. Going on the higher or Max level gives a better price for the purchase, but please note that you will not be able to remove the cards because these are combined, and once the cards are combined, there is no way you can undo the process. ✨✧✦✧✨✧✦✧✨✧✦✧✨✨✧✦✧✨✧✦✧✨✧✦✧✨✨✧✦✧✨✧✦✧✨✧✦✧✨✨✧✦✧✨ I got to know about this card a few months back, and since then, every season I rent this card, and I make sure that I pick the Max level if it is available, but sometimes if it is not, then I go for the higher level, whatever is available in the market. The total supply of this card is 1896, which I think is not so high, so its rarity is really good, and because of that, the price is also good, because we know that with a limited supply, the demand is going to be high, and the price is also determined based on that.
