They say you can't train cats. That's only true if they pick you when they are adults. So, it was with Mr Richard Parker who, at an indeterminate age, moved in.
None of my other cats, including Pearli (who has slept at home for four successive nights!) and Gandalf, don't just make themselves comfortable on the table. We aggressively discouraged it when they were kittens. Ergo, they learned; were trained.
So, there he is, keeping watch from on high, for Gandalf who would rather he was invisible or better still, disappeared forever.
A sentiment, the Cats' Mother doesn't share.
