This is a series of drone photos that I took along the coastline just south of Carmel in California. The first couple of photos are from Garrapata State park and the other 3 shots are from nearby Pt. Lobos State park. Mostly cloudy but not completely overcast days like this are some of my favorite to photograph. The clouds block some of the light which prevents the subject from getting washed out. The contrast on the land between the spots that are being lit up and spots that are being shadowed by clouds create a texture that helps keep things interesting and adds to the depth of the shot.

These next 3 shots were taken at Pt. Lobos, just north of Garrapata where the first couple shots where taken. I was able to capture a really nice golden hour mist that was going on at the time.
