Hello dear friends, I hope everyone is doing well. This week has been a sad one for the entire rock and heavy metal genre worldwide, as the founding legend of the heavy metal genre, Ozzy Osbourne, known as the Prince of Darkness, passed away. The great Ozzy was the founder of the band Black Sabbath, which burst onto the music scene with a powerful, dark sound that shocked an entire generation. Just a few days ago, Ozzy was able to perform a concert where he said goodbye to all his fans and thanked them for all the support they gave him throughout his musical career. Many bands like Metallica and Megadeth played the concert, paying tribute to the Prince of Darkness. As a true fan, I have contributed with a drawing of this great singer who went down in history and into a better life. Here's to the Prince of Darkness.
Hola queridos amigos, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien, esta semana ha sido lamentable para todo el género del rock y del heavy metal a nivel mundial, pues ha fallecido la leyenda fundadora del género del heavy metal, Ozzy Osbourne, conocido como el príncipe de las tinieblas. El gran Ozzy fue fundador de la banda Black Sabbath, que irrumpió en la escena musical con sonido potente y oscuro que escandalizo a toda una generación. Hasta hace pocos días Ozzy pudo hacer un concierto donde se despidió de todos sus fanáticos y agradeció todo el apoyo que le brindaron durante toda su carrera musical, muchísimas bandas como Metallica y también Megadeth tocaron el concierto haciendo un homenaje para el principie de las tinieblas. Como buen fanático he realizado mi aporte con un dibujo de este gran cantante que pasó a las historia y a mejor vida. Con ustedes el Príncipe de las tinieblas.

This time, I didn't use a preliminary sketch for the portrait I drew. I wanted to get it done on the first try and start with the parts I'd be painting. I didn't want to make lines I'd have to erase later. I drew the upper part of the face, making the eyes, then the nose, and gradually shaping the devilish grin.
Esta vez el retrato que hice no utilicé un boceto previo, quise hacerlo al primer intento, y comenzar con las partes que voy a pintar, no quería hacer líneas que luego tuviera que borrar. Dibujé la parte superior del rostro haciendo los ojos luego su nariz y poco a poco dando forma a su diabólica sonrisa.

Next, I drew his glasses, similar to those worn by John Lennon. Needless to say, Ozzy loved the Beatles and considered them his greatest influence. I also drew his hair, in this case only the silhouette, since the light coming from behind only allows us to see a thin line separating everything.
Después dibujé sus lentes, similares a los que usaba John Lennon, demás está decir que Ozzy amaba a los Beatles y los consideraba su más grande influencia. También dibuje el cabello, en este caso solamente la silueta ya que la luz que viene desde atrás solo permite ver una delgada línea que separa todo.

After finishing all the lines, I begin painting to give Ozzy's face volume and depth. For this, I use my favorite color: charcoal white. I begin painting the entire forehead and nose, and in the process, the lenses of his glasses are left unpainted.
Luego de terminar con todas las líneas comienzo a pintar para darle volumen y profundidad al rostro de Ozzy, para eso utilizo mi color estrella: el color blanco de carboncillo. comienzo a pintar toda la parte de la frente y también la nariz, y entre todo ese proceso los cristales de los lentes quedan sin pintar.

Next, I continue painting the lower part of the face. The technique used here is a first layer of color. I gently place this layer on the paper, barely stroking it with the tip of the color. Then, in the second layer, I sharpen the pencil so the intense white color can be better seen.
Seguidamente sigo pintando la parte inferior del rostro, la técnica utilizada aquí es una primera capa de color, esta capa la coloco en el papel suavemente, acariciando apenas el papel con la punta del color. Después en la segunda capa si afinqué bien el lápiz para que el color blanco intenso se pudiera notar mejor.

I continue drawing, this time his macabre smile, as if it were the Joker's. Here I gradually draw each of the teeth, without rushing to get them aligned exactly. I also paint some of the hair and hands; the best part of all the magic is in the small details. And so it's finished.
Continúo dibujando, esta vez su macabra sonrisa, como si fuera la del Joker, aquí voy haciendo poco a poco cada uno de los dientes, sin apresurarme para que queden alineados tal cual. También pinto parte del cabello y las manos, en los pequeños detalles es donde se encuentra la mejor parte de toda la magia. Así quedó finalizado.
