Hello dear friends of Holozing, I hope you are all doing well. Today I want to share a new creation with you. I created a Cinelara fan art with a very different twist, this time heavily inspired by anime, especially the mecha genre, one of my favorites. So, I drew a Cinelara robot heavily inspired by Gundam. I don't know if you've ever seen it, but it's one of my favorite animes. Here I drew it, taking it as inspiration and adding our character's signature colors. Below I'll briefly explain the step-by-step process. Let's get started!
Hola queridos amigos de Holozing, espero que se encuentren muy bien, hoy quiero compartirles una nueva creación, he realizado un fan art de Cinelara con un toque muy diferente, esta vez muy inspirado en el anime, especialmente en el género Mecha, uno de mis favoritos. Así que he dibujado un robot de Cinelara que está muy inspirado en Gundam, no se si alguna vez lo ha visto, pero es de mis animes favoritos. Aquí lo hice tomándolo como inspiración y poniendo los colores característicos de nuestro personaje, les comento a continuación brevemente como fue el paso a paso, comencemos!

What's in the sketch? Well, I mainly made a circular helmet for the head, then the body is like a chibi version of a Gundam, but adapted to the movie character. Then, to make the design even cooler, I drew four fully robotic wings.
¿Que tiene el boceto? bueno, principalmente la cabeza he realizado un casco circular, luego el cuerpo es como una versión chibi de un Gundam pero adaptado al personaje cinelara. Luego parta que el diseño sea aun más genial, he dibujado 4 alas que son totalmente robóticas.

I began drawing Cinelara's sketch with a base of red and orange, which I alternated to create a contrast between light and shadow. I made the eyes look like giant glasses, which I painted yellow with orange edges to create a contrast. As I painted, I left blank spaces for our character's black circles.
Comencé a dibujar el boceto de Cinelara con una base de color rojo y naranja, la cual voy alternando para así generar un contraste entre luces y sombras. Los ojos los hago como si fueran unos lentes gigantes los cuales he pintado de amarillo y en la orilla color naranja para generar contraste. Mientras voy pintando, dejo los espacios en blancos para los círculos negros de nuestro personaje.

As I mentioned before, I then fill in the blank space with black ink until each circle is complete. Another detail I added that didn't show up very well in the sketch was the antennae, which I painted gray to stand out against the predominant red color.
Como dije antes el espacio que voy dejando en blanco luego los voy rellenando con tinta negra hasta completar cada círculo. Otro detalle que hice pero que no se veía muy bien en el boceto fueron las antenas, las cuales pinto de gris para resaltar ante el color rojo predominante.

I continue drawing parts like the chest and also the limbs. As for the chest, I try to make each part with a robotic style, but without compromising the character's original shape. The same goes for each of the limbs, like the arms and legs, but dividing them between parts that are red and others that are gray, so the limbs can be clearly noted.
Contnuo dibujando las partes como el pecho y también las extremidades, en ecuanto al pecho trato de hacer cada una de las partes con un estilo robótico, pero sin comprometer la forma original del personaje. Así también cada una de las extremidades como brazos y piernas, pero dividiendolas entre las partes que son rojas, y otras que son grises, así se pued enotar muy bien las extremidades.

I also finish painting the limbs, to better blend the wax colors I've used so far. I also add alcohol-based markers, which greatly help blend the colors and enhance the contrast. Then I start doing the bases for each of the wings.
También termino de pintar las extremidades, para mezclar mejor los colores de cera que he utilizado hasta ahora, les pongo también marcadore a base de alcohol, los cuales ayudan mucho a mezclar los colores y el contraste queda aun mejor. Después voy haciendo las bases para cada una de las alas.

Little by little, I'm painting each of the wings, which look very metallic and robotic, without forgetting to place each of the black spheres throughout. After that, I began outlining the entire drawing with a fine-point black marker. By doing this, you can see how the drawing has improved contrast and volume.
Poco a poco voy pintando cada una de las alas que se ven muy metálicas y robóticas, sin olvidar de ir colocando cada una de las esferas negras en todas partes. Despues de eso comencé a delinear todo el dibujo con un marcador punta fina de color negro. al hacer esto pueden observar como el dibujo tiene un mejor contraste y volumen.
FINAL WORK
What do you think of the result? I think it looks great. I wanted to add plasma cannons, but I didn't want to overdo the design because sometimes the essence is lost, and that wasn't my intention. What I liked most was how the wings turned out. On the outermost part, I added some details that make them look like small gears to open and close the wings. I hope you like it; I did it with great taste and because Holozing characters look great when combined with other ideas. For now, I'm saying goodbye, and I hope to return next time!
¿Qué les ha parecido el resultado? creo que se ve genial, quise ponerle unos cañones de plasma pero no quise abusar del diseño porque a veces se pierde la esencia y es ano era mi intención. Lo que me gustó más fue como quedaron las alas, en la parte más extremas hice unos detalles que hacen ver como pequeños engranajes para abrir y cerrar las alas. Espero que les haya gustado, lo eh realizado con mucho gusto y porque los personajes de Holozing se ven geniales cuando se combinan con otras ideas. Por ahora me despido, y espero volver en una próxima oportunidad.!
