Today is a special moment because I want to show you a new companion that I came up with to make to the world of Holozing. He has a tender look, and although he seems somewhat slow, he is a creature with good powers that could compete very well. I have baptized him with the name Slumy, and his ability is basically leaving a trail of glowing slime that slows down enemies who step on it, reducing their attack speed and movement speed. This ability would be very useful to control the territory of the battle. He can also protect himself within his holographic shell effectively from any kind of attack but with the disadvantage that it would only be for a short time. Also, its holographic effect not only protects but can also return the attack used against him. In water his level increases, so he is found inhabiting swamps surrounded by lotus flowers, which help him increase his power. After describing some of his abilities, I will show you how I did it step by step.
Hola queridos amigos, espero quie todos se encuentren muy bien, donde quiera que estén y en cualquier momento. Hoy es momento especial porque quiero mostrarles a un nuevo compañero que se me ocurrió para hacer al mundo de Holozing. Tiene una mirada tierna, y aunque parece algo lento, es una criatura con buenos poderes que podría competir muy bien. Lo he bautizado con el nombre de Slumy, y sus habilidades es básicamente dejar un rastro de baba brillante que ralentiza a los enemigos que lo pisan, reduciendo su velocidad de ataque y velocidad de movimiento, esta habilidad sería muy útil para controlar el territorio de la batalla. También puede protegerse dentro de su coraza holográfica de manera efectiva a cualquier clase de ataque pero con la desventaja de que sería solo por poco tiempo, también su efecto holográfico no solo protege sino que también puede devolver el ataqué empleado contra él. En el agua aumenta su nivel, por lo que se encuentra habitando pantanos rodeados por flores de Loto, que le ayudan a aumentar su poder. I started by making a sketch on a white cardboard, the drawing in mind was in anime style but I didn't want it to look scary or dangerous, but quite the opposite, so I started making the eyes in a sweet way, because I wanted their appearance to hide their danger and level of power.
Comencé haciendo un boceto encima de una cartulina blanca, el dibujo en mente lo tenía en estilo anime pero no quería que se viera aterrador, ni peligrosos sino todo lo contrario, así que comencé haciendo los ojos de una manera dulce, porque quería que su apariencia oculte su peligrosidad y nivel de poder.

Once finished, I began adding color to our friend, starting with his face and slimy skin, which I made a friendly peach color. As you can see, I wasn't lying when I said his eyes looked cute, so to match his environment, I painted them blue.
Una vez terminado comencé a ponerle color a nuestro amigo, comenzando por el rostro y su piel babosa, la cual hice de un color durazno amigable. Como pueden ver, no mentía cuando decía que sus ojos se veían tiernos, así que para combinar con su medio ambiente los pinté de color azul.

I added more color to the entire face, also painting its small antennae, which were given no special purpose other than detecting approaching enemies. Next, I began painting its shell, adding a thin layer of turquoise.
Fui agregando más color a todo el rostro, pinté también sus pequeñas antenas, a las cuales no les di una actividad más especial que detectar a los enemigos que se van acercando. Seguidamente comencé a pintar su caparazón agregando una fina capa de verde turquesa.

Next, I started painting his armor, which I worked hard to make holographic. It's very difficult to achieve that effect, but I tried my best, mixing cool colors and also giving it shape. After finishing, you can see how our character looks. I didn't want to leave it like that, so I added more details.
Después comencé a pintar su coraza, la cual me esforcé mucho por hacerla holográfica, es muy dificl lograr ese efecto pero traté de hacer lo posible, mezclando colores fríos y también dándole forma. Después de terminar se puede observar como queda nuestro personaje, no quise dejarlo así, de manera que agregué más detalles.

Finally, I added a swampy landscape. I depicted our friend Slumy perched on a large leaf floating in the swamp, surrounded by enormous lotus flowers, the source of his power. In the background, I added some mountains and the sky. Finally, I began outlining the entire drawing with a fine-point black marker.
Al final agregué un paisaje pantanoso, hice a nuestro amigo Slumy posado encima de una gran hoja flotando en el pantado rodeado por enormes flores de Loto, origen de su poder. Al fondo agregué unas montañas y el cielo, para finalizar comencé a delinear todo el dibujo con un marcador negro punta fina.

I liked how everything turned out, especially because I didn't leave the Slumy creature blank, but added a background that speaks volumes about his abilities. Qué les parece el resultado final? y que opinan del personaje? Piensan que los poderes sin van acorde a su personalidad? a mi me gusto como quedó todo, especialmente porque no dejé a la criatura Slumy en blanco, sino que agregué un fondo que dice mucho acerca de sus habilidades. Siempre me gusta contribuir de otra manera, tratando de imaginar personajes nuevos, espero que les haya gustado, si así fue no duden de que pronto dibujaría una evolución de este pequeño amigo.
