Hello dear friends of Splinterlands, I hope you are all doing well, especially the Aliens community. I want to sincerely thank you for selecting my fan art in 5th place last week. It meant a lot to me. I honestly didn't think I'd be among the top 10 each week, so I am very grateful for all the support. This week I wanted to participate with a new fan art, despite the difficulties. I am currently suffering from a virus, and because of the fever, it is difficult for me to hold the pencil. However, despite this, I did my best to be there this week. To participate, I chose the Ravenhood Warden card, a great hunter who possesses the power of darkness and a bow with immense aim. I decided to make it as an upright warrior ready for battle, with his enormous bow, preparing to use it. I made it with cardboard and colored pencils. I hope you like it.
Hola queridos amigos de Splinterlands, espero que se encuentren muy bien, especialmente a la comunidad de aliens. Quiero agradecer de todo corazón que la semana pasada mi fan art haya sido seleccionado en el 5to lugar, significó mucho para mi, la verdad no pensé que quedaría entre los 10 lugares de cada semana, así que agradezco mucho todo el apoyo recibido. Esta semana he querido participar con un nuevo fan art, a pesar de las dificultades, me encuentro pasando un virus, y por la fiebre me cuesta sostener un poco el lápiz, pero a pesar de eso hice mi mejor esfuerzo para no faltar a la cita de esta semana. Para participar he elegido la carta Ravenhood Warden, un gran cazador que posee la fuerza de la oscuridad y un arco con una puntería inmensa. Decidí hacerlo como un guerrero erguido listo para la batalla, con su enorme arco y preparándose para usarlo, lo hice en cartulina y lápices de colores, espero que les guste.

Although it was a bit difficult for me to hold the pencil, the pain from the fever was unbearable, I began to make the sketch. This time it didn't come out as easily or as quickly as before. Instead, I had to do each line little by little. I felt that I did each area of the drawing as an independent drawing since it took me longer to make the lines and for the drawing to have coherence. After finishing the sketch, what I did was eliminate the most marked lines and only leave the lighter lines to start painting.
Aunque me costó un poco sostener el lápiz, el dolor de la fiebre era insoportable, me puse a hacer el boceto, esta vez no salió tan fácil ni tan rápido como antes, sino que poco a poco tuve que hacer cada línea, sentí que cada área del dibujo la hice como un dibujo independiente ya que me llevó mas tiempo hacer las líneas y que el dibujo tuviera coherencia. Luego de terminar de hacer el boceto lo que hice fue eliminar las líneas mas marcadas y solo dejar las líneas más claras para ponerme a pintar.

As I mentioned at the beginning, this drawing is painted primarily with colored pencils, so that it's a layer that can then be blended with alcohol-based markers. So I start with the face, which, as its name suggests, is a raven. I use cool colors to paint the face, like blue and purple, and highlight the eyes with yellow.
Como mencioné al principio este dibujo está pintado principalmente con lápices de colores, esto como para que sea una capa y luego se pueda mezclar con marcdores a base de alcohol. Así que comienzo con el rostro el cual como su nombre lo indica e sun cuervo, así que voy utilizando colores fríos para pintar el rostro como azúl y púrpura y resaltando los ojos con amarillo.

After painting the face, I began to shape her clothing, especially the hood she's wearing, which hides her identity but not the gaze with which she points her arrow. I painted it using various shades of green. For the base color, I used ochre so it would have warm colors originally.
Depués de pintar el rostro comencé a darle forma a sus ropajes, especialmente la capucha que tiene puesta la cual oculta su identidad pero no su mirada con la cual apunta su flecha, así que la pinto utilizando varios tonos de color verde. Para la base del color utilizo ocre así tendría en su origen colores cálidos.

I'm also starting to paint the lower parts after the head, such as the limbs, respecting the details of the original design, of course. I'm also painting the arms and what would be the part of the chest where the clothing changes to a lighter shade of brown.
Tambien comienzo ya a pintar las partes inferiores después de la cabeza como las extremidades, respetando por supuesto los detalles del diseño original. Voy pintando los brazos y también lo que sería la parte del pecho donde el ropaje cambia a un tono más café claro.

I also paint our warrior's pants in the same way, although I add other shades, such as purple. This ensures a different tone and allows the contrast to be better observed. In some specific areas, I use a blue marker to create shadows on certain parts of the clothing, giving the drawing volume. Finally, I also color the bow using a light gray.
Los pantalones de nuestro guerrero también los voy pintando de la misma forma aunque le voy agregando otra clase de tonos, como el púrpura, con esto me aseguro de que vaya por otro rumbo y así el contraste se pueda observar mejor. En algunas zonas puntuales utilizo el marcador de color azul a modo de hacer sombras en algunas partes de la ropa y así darle volumen al dibujo. Por último también coloreo el arco utilizando un color gris claro.

Then, with the black marker, I begin outlining the entire illustration, gradually outlining each part of the drawing with the black marker. I also begin adding more contrast to the colors I'd already used in the drawing, blending some parts with alcohol-based markers. I use blue, purple, and a light green. This is how it's finished.
Luego con el marcador de color negro comienzo a delinear toda la ilustración, poco a poco cada parte dle dibujo es bordeada por el marcador de color negro. Así también comienzo a agregar más contraste a los colores que ya había puesto en el dibujo, mezclando algunas partes con marcadores a base de alcohol, así es como voy utilizando azul, púrpura y también un verde claro. De esta manera quedó finalizado.
FINAL WORK
What did you think of the final result? You can tell a little from the lines that my hands weren't at 100%, but drawing gave me back my health and energy. I was thinking of doing something similar to the plague doctors, but I'll save that for another occasion, so I decided on this design. Well, friends, that's all for now. ¿Qué les ha parecido el resultado final? si se nota un poco en el trazo que mis manos no estaban al 100% pero dibujar me devolvió la salud y la energía. Tenía pensado hacerlo algo parecido a los doctores de la peste negra, pero ese mejor lo dejo para otra ocasión, así que me decidí por este diseño.
