My Day in Umuahia: A Catering Adventure
I've got a story to tell about today! I headed out for a catering job in Umuahia, a place I've never stepped foot in before. But, you know what brought me here? My job! 😊 Catering gigs take me to different places, and today it was Umuahia's turn.
Due to the urgency and hurry I could not take pictures of us before or during the journey.
About the Job
It is a seminar or conference that is held annually and they get to choose a state more like a rotation then the government of that state will host them, provide a venue for the organizers to have their conference. I have limited knowledge on the conference Tag, am more concerned with rendering my services here for now.

The Morning Rush
We kicked off the day serving breakfast. And guess what we served? 🍞 Tea, bread, and proteins! Yep, a hearty combo to get everyone going for the day. The aroma of freshly brewed tea filled the air, and folks were digging into their breakfast like nobody's business. It was a buzz of activity, but we caterers were on top of it, making sure everyone got their morning fix. We served the guests with small chops afterwards om their demand of course.

Now, Lunch is Coming
On getting here, we were briefed that we'd wear two different set of uniforms, one for breakfast and the other for lunch. So after serving breakfast successfully, we changed to something different.
So this is us while wait for the guest to arrive so that they can be served.

My Experience So Far
And now, we're gearing up to serve lunch! Am a bit curious about this city Since I'm new to here, I'm curious about the vibe here. Umuahia, by the way, is in Abia State, Nigeria.
It's a beautiful city and we are grateful to God for a fair weather.
It's been a whirlwind but fun being in a new place for work adds a spark to the day. I get to see how things roll in Umuahia, meet new folks connected to the job, and yeah, do what I do best – help make the food service a hit! Since I've never been to Umuahia before today, every bit of this experience is fresh.
And that's where we are – breakfast's done, lunch is next! 🍴 How's your day going?
