Out in the garden yesterday morning I ended up finding a full tub of squash, most all a nice smaller size save the one that had been buried in the plants.
The cucumbers did another 10 and slowly we are getting some tomatoes.
The spuds on the deck got bagged into 15 lbs and then all 6 bags went to storage with the others.
360 lbs on the shelves so far.
Mid morning I was out digging some more up. I managed to fill the baskets in only about 20 minutes.
They got washed and laid out to dry.
Back on my truck I pulled out the drill and pushed a hole through the broken bolt in the block.
I did well to not hit the block and got a sizable hole through. Using the easy out I managed to get half the bolt out but the bottom was still welded tight. I snapped the tip of an easy out but got the chunk out of the hole.
More drilling and I decided to try the tap which then quickly broke off in the hole!!!!
MOTHER FUCKER!!!!!
The saving grace in all this is the bolt that broke has a couple others very close by so even if I don't get it out there is enough pressure to keep things tight when back together. Today I will try and break it out with a center punch and hammer, hopefully without hurting the aluminum block.
Trying to use the filament up on the spool I printed out a garden seed hole handle. Thinking it might work for the garlic... I'll play with it some and see.
The sled has a bad grinding going on in the drive train and it had gotten worse. So I pulled off the front right to investigate.
I hate ball joints!!!! I managed to get the axle out and the bearings don't look terrible so I have to put it back together and pull apart the back wheel. One of them is jacked up, it's super loud and gotten worse.
Waited for my tools to deliver but then Amazon fucked up and now they get here today.... I really would have like to have the hone so I can get the engine started put back together.
R was out on the trampoline and came running in stoked on his front flips. So out we went with the headlamp and he went bounding around landing both front and back flips.
A shorter soak as norm.
Today I will work on the car and truck, get harvest done early, dig more spuds, check on the bees, wash my clothes, and work on the job numbers.
