Rain, 3DPrinting Fan Cowling, Carport, Server Cooler, Fence Line Planning, Dreary, CoCo - Tuesday

Woke to another 1/4" of rain in the gauge yesterday morning as the rain was just finishing for the day. I had expected it to be wet all day but got a surprise with it staying dry.

It was foggy for a while then it all lifted and just became clouds the rest of the day.

I managed to find an SCAD editable fan cowling and got it sized right to fit the fan and the little server top. The first print borked due to the wrong build plate so I switched over to the smooth pei and hit it with hair spray which worked like a charm.

I printed in ASA as I have a spool that needs using.

The cowling came out perfect and the fan bolted right to it.

I sized it to 95 mm for the small side which fits the top of the mini PC perfectly.

I am SUPER happy I have psensor running. I pulled the fan from the top of the pc and while I worked had soccer on so the thing was working a bit to [push the video. By the time I had the fan ready to put back atop the pc it had risen to 135F. I set the cowlinged fan back and within minutes the temp dropped 30F back down around 100-105F. What a big difference it will make for the longevity of the little pc.

I managed to find some table cloth clips that would work right though they were rather tall. AS the print went I decided to pop one off the plate mid way and found they were the right size.

The clips hold the fan in place nicely so it isn't kicked around off center.

I ordered the carport that I will use to work on my truck inside of. It's a 13x25ft one so I will have ample space to work as my truck is 18 feet long. It will deliver next Thursday at which time I will get it setup and the truck driven inside. It will sit right outside the house and limit the use of the living room door for a while.

I'm trying to figure out how to get the rest of the farm fenced so slung a few posts around to get the idea going. I will run it from the corner of the house where I will build a gate, behind the hot tub, down the hill. along these posts to a gate by the bridge. I'll then run fence along the creek then up to the driveway gate. I'll likely need a man gate at the driveway gate for the packages box. Then I will have to figure out fence from the animal pen across the trail.

The day was gray and cool but no rain.

I had to wait until late for the filament to arrive so I got a test run done with the NASA fabric in ASA. I'm not as big of a fan of it in ASA for sure.

I made dinner, we watched the Sunday animes, then I had to refill the coconut oil tub in the kitchen from the bucket. Thankfully I have my brewing spoon which reaches and is super strong. This is the best coco oil I have had as it has the absolute least flavor of all that I have tried. I got the first set of bracelet stands printing for @stryeyz and they finished before midnight. After the current tablet stand is done this morning I will get the filament swapped and the next set of stands printing. I need a total of 8 stands done before Saturday morning when she has her craft show.

The printer is going this morning already and will be running pretty constant for the next days, the stands are the priority as they take 6 hours per set and 8 ounces of filament. Mid day I have potato sales to deliver at the post office meeting spot then will hit North 40 to see if they have the fly rod I want in stock. Will get the boys to school soon then this evening @stryeyz and I have a session in town.
