This week's author earnings were very low, at 4.81 HP, but that doesn't matter in the slightest. Honestly, we're talking pennies. No one is going to write for peanuts, so it doesn't make any sense. The worrying thing is that I see fewer and fewer people participating in Hive. Since I started, the number of people writing and participating has dropped significantly. I have no idea why, but it's happening. There are no more contests or debates. There are no fun articles either. Just a few very long articles that I don't think anyone will read. We're in the 21st century, not the 19th.
Beyond Hive, the kids have started school, and they seem to be doing well, or at least they haven't caused me any family drama. These days, it's hard for me to come home angry because the teachers treat them with cotton wool. And I'm not sure that's a good thing at all. But their mother is here to teach them what life is really about, even if it means throwing a tantrum here and there.
