Mis queridos amigos, les saludo esperando que todo se encuentre muy bien en sus vidas.
Mi institución estuvo de aniversario durante todo el mes de agosto, y yo participé en muchas de sus actividades, que aquí les comento.
Durante el mes se llevaron a cabo actividades vía online muy interesantes, que nos pusieron al tanto de lo que se estaba haciendo en el Inces y hacia donde nos proyectamos los próximos años. Todo esto, enmarcado en la vigencia que mantiene nuestra enseñanza técnica a la par de los desafíos de aprendizaje con la aplicación de la Inteligencia Artificial y los nuevos modelos de enseñanza.
My dear friends, I greet you and hope that everything is going well in your lives. My institution celebrated its anniversary throughout the month of August, and I participated in many of its activities, which I will tell you about here. During the month, there were some very interesting online activities that brought us up to date on what was being done at Inces and where we are headed in the coming years. All of this is part of our ongoing commitment to technical education, alongside the challenges of learning with the application of artificial intelligence and new teaching models.
La primera actividad presencial honestamente me sorprendió. Lo primero que hicieron fue elegir el trabajador y trabajadora del año; esta elección era por departamento, y yo ¡RESULTÉ ELEGIDA! Esta fue la primera sorpresa y agradecimiento para poder asistir a la celebración, con todos mis compañeros.
The first in-person activity honestly surprised me. The first thing they did was choose the employee of the year; this choice was made by department, and I WAS CHOSEN! This was the first surprise and I was grateful to be able to attend the celebration with all my colleagues.
Ese día, debíamos hacer una elección entre todos los departamentos para elegir a esa persona que nos representaría. Nos pareció un poco injusto porque, primero en este país, ¡TODOS LOS MERECEMOS! Ya que día a día estamos en nuestros puestos, solo por amor. Y segundo, porque somos tan compañeros y tan unidos, que por ejemplo yo, quería votar por mí, pero también por otros compañeros que lo hacen muy bien en sus departamentos ¡Difícil elección!
Pues, no nos quedó de otra que seguir las reglas, pero en vez de crearse rivalidades, fue un momento para "hacer campaña", decirnos palabras de aliento y tomarnos fotos entre candidatas para futuras reuniones 😊. Así que siento desde, ya que ¡Todos ganamos un trofeo incalculable!
That day, we had to make a choice among all the departments to select the person who would represent us. We thought it was a little unfair because, first of all, in this country, WE ALL DESERVE IT! Since we are at our jobs every day, just for love. And second, because we are such good colleagues and so close-knit that, for example, I wanted to vote for myself, but also for other colleagues who do a great job in their departments. Difficult choice! Well, we had no choice but to follow the rules, but instead of creating rivalries, it was a time to “campaign,” say words of encouragement to each other, and take photos of the candidates for future meetings. So I feel that we all won an invaluable trophy!
La semana aniversario, también estuvo acompañada de una jornada médica para todos los trabajadores y trabajadoras, donde la atención fue básica como de toma de presión y consulta con algunos médicos que asistieron. Yo fui la número 42, pero todo fluía muy rápido porque estaban unos 4 médicos atendiendo. Al finalizar, dependiendo de lo que teníamos y la sintomatología que presentáramos, nos mandaban a hacer unos exámenes, algunas consultas más especializadas y en el mejor de los casos, nos daban medicinas.
A mí me tocó esta última opción, donde me regalaron acetaminofén (para el dolor de cabeza) y Calcio con vitamina D3, para mis huesos. Ciertamente, no hace la misma función de lo que necesito como el magnesio, pero algo debe ayudar; además, mi morrocoya Paz si necesita este tipo de medicina para su cuerpo, así que no me siento culpable por tomarlas 😉.
The anniversary week also included a medical day for all workers, where basic care was provided, such as blood pressure checks and consultations with some of the doctors who attended. I was number 42, but everything went very quickly because there were about four doctors attending. At the end, depending on what we had and the symptoms we presented, they sent us for tests, some more specialized consultations, and in the best cases, they gave us medicine. I was given the latter option, where they gave me acetaminophen (for headaches) and calcium with vitamin D3 for my bones. Certainly, it doesn't do the same job as what I need, such as magnesium, but it must help somewhat. Besides, my friend Paz needs this type of medicine for her body, so I don't feel guilty about taking it 😉.
La jornada culminó con un rico almuerzo y las expectativas suficientes para dedicarnos a celebrar nuestro aniversario como debe ser 😎.
Yo tengo 6 años en la institución y, aunque siempre tengo la reflexión de qué debo hacer o si vale la pena seguir con esos salarios, sé que la institución no tiene la culpa y que todos los empleados estamos expuestos a las carencias económicas. Sin embargo, eso no ha dejado de yo recibir salarios emocionales como reconocimientos, flexibilidad de horario, comprensión con los diversos procesos que he pasado con mi madre y lo más importante, es que ninguna otra institución me ha ofrecido u ofertado algo mejor para decir "hasta aquí".
Por eso, me dedico a celebrar, compartir y participar de todas las actividades que realicen porque me siento orgullosa de la institución que represento y 66 años después, seguimos ENSEÑANDO LA TÉCNICA y más vigente que muchas otras escuelas que no ofrecen calidad en su formación.
Mucho le debo al Inces y espero seguir aprovechando las oportunidades que me ofrece 🙏.
The day ended with a delicious lunch and high expectations for celebrating our anniversary as it should be 😎. I have been with the institution for six years, and although I always wonder what I should do or if it is worth continuing with these salaries, I know that the institution is not to blame and that all employees are exposed to economic hardship. However, that has not stopped me from receiving emotional rewards such as recognition, flexible hours, understanding of the various processes I have gone through with my mother, and most importantly, no other institution has offered me anything better to say “this is it.” That is why I dedicate myself to celebrating, sharing, and participating in all the activities they carry out because I am proud of the institution I represent. Sixty-six years later, we continue to TEACH THE TECHNIQUE, and we are more relevant than many other schools that do not offer quality training. I owe a lot to Inces, and I hope to continue taking advantage of the opportunities it offers me.
