My October was very eventful; in one month, I experienced many emotions that I am grateful for because they prepared me to welcome November with gratitude and excitement for my birthday.
In October, I was able to enjoy the beach and its benefits, although not as often as I would have liked because my country has experienced natural phenomena that have made it dangerous to stay in the sea. That is why I value every place I have been able to visit and spend time there.
Mis queridos amigos, les saludo esperando que todo marche muy bien en sus vidas, tanto como en la mía. Mi octubre estuvo muy movido; en un mes, pude experimentar muchas emociones que agradezco porque me prepararon para recibir mi noviembre en gratitud y emoción por ser día de mi cumple. En octubre, pude disfrutar de la playa y sus bondades, aunque no tan seguido como quisiera porque en mi país se han presentado fenómenos naturales donde se han prohibido la permanencia en el mar por el peligro que existe. Por eso, valoro cada espacio que he podido visitar y pasar un rato allí.

It was also a month of lots of shopping and achieving goals. I was able to install the gate to my garden, I bought the things I needed to fix my floor, and I BOUGHT MY MATTRESS! For better rest and comfort in my life. Unfortunately, this is an expense that should be normal when it's time to replace it, but in this country, we either eat or buy things, because we can't do both. I made a fair and necessary investment, which I gratefully accept so that it will last a long time in my home.
También, fue un mes de muchas compras y concreción de metas. Pude colocar el portón de mi jardín, compré las cosas necesarias para arreglar mi piso y ¡COMPRÉ MI COLCHÓN! Para un mejor descanso y confort a mi vida. Lamentablemente, este es un gasto que debería ser normal cambiarlo cuando su tiempo de uso ya venció, pero en este país o comemos o compramos cosas, porque las dos no se pueden. Hice una inversión, justa y necesaria, que con gratitud lo recibo para que dure mucho en mi hogar.

On another note, Christmas arrived in my country, and with it came the decorations and embellishments of the city, where I went to enjoy myself with my mother. I can't deny that everything looked very pretty and brightly lit.
En otro orden de ideas, llegó la Navidad a mi país y con ella la ornamentación y embellecimiento de la ciudad, donde fui a disfrutar con mi madre. No puedo negar que todo quedó muy bonito y alumbrado.

I didn't want to forget to mention that although the month ends with a themed holiday like Halloween (which I don't participate in), it's important to recognize that death exists and is the only certainty we have. I had to accompany my mother as some friends and neighbors passed away, and we reflected on the fundamentals of living and knowing how to live. Not simply from apathy or disinterest, but from purpose and kindness, because the experiences and traces we leave on others are the only things we will take with us to eternal paradise (for those of us who believe in it):
No quería dejar de mencionar, que aunque el mes termina con una fiesta temática como Halloween (de la cual no formo parte), es importante reconocer que la muerte existe y es lo más seguro que tenemos; me tocó acompañar a mi madre en la partida de algunas amistades y vecinos, donde reflexionamos sobre lo elemental de vivir y saber vivir. No simplemente desde la apatía o el desinterés, sino desde el propósito y la bondad, porque las experiencias y las huellas que dejamos en los demás, es lo único que nos vamos a llevar al paraíso eterno (para aquellos que creemos en él):

And so ends my October, filled with shopping, reflections, sadness, joy, and a strong desire to embrace November with enthusiasm, as I have many reasons to make it special. The main one: it's my 39th birthday, and I'm going to enjoy it because if there's one thing we November babies love, it's THE PARTY RIGHT BEFORE DECEMBER!😎.
Y bueno, así termina mi octubre, entre compras, reflexiones, tristezas, alegrías y muchas ganas de vivir el noviembre con la mejor disposición, ya que tengo muchas razones para que sea especial. La principal: Es mi cumpleaños número 39 y lo disfrutaré porque si algo nos gusta a los de noviembre es ¡LA FIESTA PEGADA A DICIEMBRE!😎.
