In week #430, I want to talk about a Latin American tradition that is becoming increasingly popular, which is that every September 21st, people give each other yellow flowers.
It turns out that yes, it is a very beautiful “tradition,” because they are not the typical red flowers or an arrangement that costs a lot of money. Yellow flowers are versatile, fresh, and just one is enough.

En la semana #430, quiero hablar de un hecho latinoamericano que se está volviendo tendencia, y es que cada 21 de septiembre se regalan flores amarillas. Resulta que sí, es una "tradición" muy bonita, porque no son las típicas flores rojas o un arreglo que implique mucho dinero; Las flores amarillas son versátiles, frescas y con una sola es suficiente.
BUT, since we are a joke, a trend, this year everything got out of control. From ordinary people to beer brands, everyone got creative and prepared yellow flowers in our country.
Most of them revolved around yellow food and beer that IS YELLOW 🤣. I chose the latter and, with a visionary mind, I bought my REGIONAL beer, which is turning out to be DIVINE! It has become one of my favorites because of its flavor, freshness, presentation, and the revival of those brands that had disappeared from the shelves and are now returning to supermarkets as an alternative beverage, allowing me to join in on the trend of making jokes related to that day of “yellow flowers.”

PERO, como nosotros somos todo un chiste, una broma, una tendencia, este año todo se descontroló. Desde personas comunes hasta marcas de cervezas, se prestaron para ser creativos y preparar unas flores amarillas en nuestro país. La mayoría giró en torno a la comida amarilla y la cerveza que ES AMARILLA 🤣. Yo elegí la segunda y con mente visionaria, me compré mi cerveza REGIONAL, que está saliendo ¡DIVINA! Se ha vuelto una de mis favoritas, por su sabor, frescura, presentación y rescate de esas marcas que habían desaparecido de los anaqueles y hoy están volviendo a verse en los supermercados como una alternativa de bebida, para unirme a esta tendencia de hacer bromas relacionadas con ese día de "las flores amarillas" 🌻.
I haven't seen it sold in bottles or 36-packs like we usually buy beer here, nor have I seen it in many of the liquor stores I visit, so when I go to the supermarket, I try to bring home as much as possible to keep in my fridge and drink while I'm cleaning, working, or cooking because I DESERVE IT! 😊.

Aún no he visto la presentación en botellas y gaveras de 36 como acostumbramos a comprar la cerveza acá; tampoco, lo he visto en muchas licorerías que visito, así que cuando voy al supermercado, trato de traerme la mayor cantidad posible para tener en mi nevera y consumirlas cuando estoy limpiando, trabajando o cocinando porque ¡ME LO MEREZCO! 😊.
On Sunday the 21st, I made my big video of “my yellow flowers,” and it was well received by my contacts, who supported the idea that everyone gets their yellow flower however they want; they laughed a lot and also sent me videos of their respective beers, all yellow 🍻.
It is worth noting that my J.J. was my accomplice who bought me those yellow flowers, which made me very happy.
