🌸 Hoy la Isla de Margarita se viste de fe, pues es el cumpleaños de nuestra bella Virgen del Valle🌸 [ESP-ENG]

Hola amigos de @hivemargarita, Con todo el amor desde mi querida isla de Margarita. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un pedacito de mi corazón, porque este día no es como cualquier otro. Es un día profundamente especial para todos los que vivimos en esta tierra Bendita, llena de Mar, Sol y Fe. Este 8 de septiembre, nuestra querida isla de Margarita celebra con amor y fervor el cumpleaños de la Virgen del Valle, Patrona del Oriente Venezolano y de nuestros Pescadores. Para quienes vivimos aquí, este día no es solo una fecha en el calendario, es una manifestación viva de tradición y espiritualidad. Desde muy temprano, miles de devotos llegan al Valle del Espíritu Santo para rendirle tributo. Algunos vienen a pagar promesas, otros simplemente a agradecer. La primera misa de la madrugada, a las 12:00 a.m., marca el inicio de una jornada llena de cantos, oraciones y lágrimas de emoción. Anoche tuve la dicha de llevar a una amiga que quería ir a esa primera misa y amigos quiero expresar mi expresión al ver tanto movimiento desde esa hora. Me conmovió ver cómo la gente caminaba desde lejos, porque los accesos a la basílica estaban cerrados. Desde la avenida Fucho Tovar, desde el antiguo Macro, desde la clínica El Valle y desde cada rincón, porque inclusive por toda la avenida 31 de Julio un montón de personas avanzaban con fe, quedé realmente sorprendida y a su vez feliz y orgullosa de vivir en esta tierra Bendita. Lo más hermoso es que toda la isla se transforma. En cada calle, casa, bote y comercio hay una imágen de la Vírgen decorada con flores, luces y amor. En centros comerciales como La Vela y Sambil, las entradas están adornadas con altares preciosos. En rattan plaza, donde mi hija ve sus clases de lirico, hay una decoración especial que me encantó. Ver cómo Margarita se une por completo en esta celebración me hace sentir profundamente orgullosa de vivir aquí. La Virgen del Valle no solo es nuestra patrona, es parte de nuestra identidad. Su presencia nos acompaña en el mar, en la tierra y en el alma. Hoy quiero decirle Bendiciones, Virgencita, Gracias por estar con nosotros, por proteger a nuestros pescadores, por unir a tantas familias en la fe. Y gracias a cada persona que, con devoción, mantiene viva esta tradición que nos define como pueblo. Me despido hoy con la alegría de haber compartido este momento tan especial con ustedes. Que la Virgen del Valle siga iluminando nuestros caminos, protegiendo a nuestras familias y Bendiciendo esta tierra hermosa que nos vio nacer. Today I want to share a little piece of my heart with you, because this day is not like any other. It is a deeply special day for all of us who live in this blessed land, full of sea, sun, and faith. On September 8, our beloved island of Margarita celebrates with love and fervor the birthday of the Virgin of the Valley, patron saint of eastern Venezuela and our fishermen. For those of us who live here, this day is not just a date on the calendar, it is a living manifestation of tradition and spirituality. From early in the morning, thousands of devotees arrive at the Valley of the Holy Spirit to pay tribute to her. Some come to fulfill promises, others simply to give thanks. The first mass at midnight marks the beginning of a day filled with songs, prayers, and tears of emotion. Last night, I had the pleasure of taking a friend who wanted to attend that first mass, and I want to express my feelings upon seeing so much activity at that hour. I was moved to see how people walked from afar because the entrances to the basilica were closed. From Fucho Tovar Avenue, from the old Macro, from the El Valle clinic, and from every corner, because even along 31 de Julio Avenue, a crowd of people advanced with faith. I was truly surprised and, at the same time, happy and proud to live in this blessed land. The most beautiful thing is that the whole island is transformed. In every street, house, boat, and shop, there is an image of the Virgin decorated with flowers, lights, and love. In shopping centers like La Vela and Sambil, the entrances are adorned with beautiful altars. In Rattan Plaza, where my daughter takes her ballet classes, there is a special decoration that I loved. Seeing how Margarita comes together in this celebration makes me feel deeply proud to live here. The Virgin of the Valley is not only our patron saint, she is part of our identity. Her presence accompanies us at sea, on land, and in our souls. Today I want to say, "Blessings, Virgin Mary, thank you for being with us, for protecting our fishermen, for uniting so many families in faith. And thank you to each person who, with devotion, keeps alive this tradition that defines us as a people." I bid you farewell today with the joy of having shared this special moment with you.
