Por este lado estamos bien, disfrutando de días llenos de magia en el calor de esta hermosa Isla de Margarita. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes uno de los lugares que más frecuento últimamente y es la hermosa Bahía de Pampatar. Todo comenzó como parte de mi rutina diaria, mi hijo practica atletismo en la Ciudad Deportiva, ubicada cerca de Pampatar y yo siempre que puedo lo acompaño. A veces llevo a una amiguita que vive en pampatar, otras veces simplemente dejo a mi hijo en la pista, pero lo que nunca falta es mi escapada a este rincón mágico. Cuando tengo un rato libre, me siento en esa placita, justo donde está la venta de empanadas, allí bajo la sombra y me dejo envolver por el movimiento constante de la playa. Me encanta observar los botes que entran y salen del muelle, los niños corriendo por la arena, las risas que flotan en el aire. Hay una energía especial, una alegría que se respira sin esfuerzo. Lo que más me fascina de la playa la Bahía es su ambiente de fiesta permanente. Hoy es lunes y sin embargo, la playa está llena de vida. Los restaurantes están repletos, hay música, niños jugando, turistas tomando fotos, ese bullicio alegre es justo lo que me enamora. No me gustan las playas silenciosas y solitarias; yo prefiero la música, la diversión, el movimiento. Me encanta ver a los muchachos disfrutando, sentir que el mar no solo refresca, sino que también celebra. Además, la playa está llena de vendedores ambulantes que le dan aún más sabor al lugar. Hay quienes ofrecen cócteles tropicales bien fríos, dulces típicos, mercancía seca y hasta una tiendita encantadora donde puedes conseguir trajes de baño, lentes de sol y accesorios playeros. La oferta gastronómica es variada, desde empanadas y hamburguesas hasta platos con especialidades del mar como pescado frito, camarones y ceviches frescos. Todo está al alcance y todo tiene ese toque local que lo hace único. Y si lo tuyo es la aventura, también hay motos de agua disponibles para alquilar. Verlas surcar el mar mientras los jóvenes gritan de emoción es parte del espectáculo. Pampatar no es solo una playa, es un espacio donde la rutina se transforma en celebración, donde cada visita se siente como un pequeño viaje de alegría. Pero lo que también me encanta es que, justo afuera de la zona de playa, hay una fila de pequeños restaurantes que ofrecen todo tipo de comida. Desde opciones rápidas hasta platos más elaborados, hay para todos los gustos. Y frente a esos restaurancitos, puedes encontrar una farmacia, una panadería y hasta un pequeño bodegón. Son detalles que hacen la experiencia aún más cómoda, si se te olvida algo, lo puedes comprar ahí mismo, sin tener que alejarte del ambiente playero. Este lugar se ha convertido en mi refugio, en mi pausa diaria, en ese rincón donde puedo respirar, observar y agradecer. On this side we are fine, enjoying days full of magic in the warmth of this beautiful Margarita Island. Today I want to share with you one of the places that I frequent the most lately and that is the beautiful Pampatar Bay. It all started as part of my daily routine, my son practices athletics in the Sports City, located near Pampatar and I always go with him whenever I can. Sometimes I take a friend who lives in Pampatar, other times I simply leave my son at the track, but what is never missing is my escape to this magical corner. When I have some free time, I sit in that little square, right where the empanadas are sold, there under the shade and let myself be enveloped by the constant movement of the beach. I love to watch the boats coming in and out of the pier, the children running along the sand, the laughter floating in the air. There is a special energy, a joy that breathes effortlessly. What fascinates me most about La Bahia beach is its permanent party atmosphere. Today is Monday and yet the beach is full of life. The restaurants are full, there is music, children playing, tourists taking pictures, that joyful bustle is just what makes me fall in love with it. I don't like quiet and lonely beaches; I prefer music, fun, movement. I love to see the kids enjoying themselves, to feel that the sea not only refreshes, but also celebrates. Besides, the beach is full of street vendors that add even more flavor to the place. There are those who offer cold tropical cocktails, typical sweets, dry goods and even a charming little shop where you can get swimsuits, sunglasses and beach accessories. The gastronomic offer is varied, from empanadas and hamburgers to dishes with seafood specialties such as fried fish, shrimp and fresh ceviches. Everything is within reach and everything has that local touch that makes it unique. And if adventure is your thing, there are also jet skis available for rent. Watching them sail the sea while the youngsters scream with excitement is part of the show. Pampatar is not just a beach, it is a space where routine is transformed into celebration, where every visit feels like a small journey of joy. But what I also love is that, just outside the beach area, there is a row of small restaurants offering all kinds of food. From quick options to more elaborate dishes, there is something for everyone. And in front of those little restaurants, you can find a pharmacy, a bakery and even a small bodegón. These are details that make the experience even more comfortable, if you forget something, you can buy it right there, without having to leave the beach environment. This place has become my refuge, my daily pause, that corner where I can breathe, observe and be grateful.
