Un día lluvioso pero Gaby aprovechó de compartir lo aprendido [ESP-ENG]

 Hola amigos de @motherhood espero st semana este marchando bien y que su fin de semana sea maravilloso. Por este lado estamos bien gracias a Dios. Hoy fue uno de esos días que empiezan con dudas y terminan con sonrisas. Amaneció lloviendo fuerte y como muchas mamás sabrán, eso significa que la piscina se pone helada y a mi hija Gaby no le agrada para nada el agua fría. Al principio no quería ir a su clase de natación, pero habíamos hecho un compromiso antes, aprovechar las vacaciones para asistir al menos cuatro días a la semana. Así que, con algo de resistencia, nos aventuramos a pesar de la lluvia.  Antes de salir, le dije “Gaby, si llegamos y el agua está muy fría, no tienes que entrar” pero al llegar, tocó el agua y el profesor la animó. Y ahí empezó lo su aventura.  Hoy había dos niños nuevos en la clase y el profe que conoce bien el progreso de Gaby le pidió que ayudara a uno de ellos con una técnica de nado. No se imaginan la emoción de Gaby, siempre me he dado cuenta que le gusta mucho enseñar, tiene paciencia, también le gusta sentirse útil y compartir lo que sabe. El niño, un poco mayor que ella, fue muy receptivo y aprendió rápido. Gaby estaba feliz y yo más aún al verla tan comprometida y generosa.    El profesor la felicitó por su constancia, a pesar de que a veces se enferma por el cloro o el frío. Y hoy, además de cumplir con su clase, ayudó a que otro niño se sintiera más seguro en el agua.   Me fui de la piscina con el corazón lleno. Porque más allá de la natación, hoy Gaby me recordó lo valioso que es el esfuerzo, el compromiso y el compartir con otros. A mis hijos siempre les recuerdo y hoy lo comparto con ustedes, que cuando esté en nuestras manos ayudar, lo hagamos. Si alguien lo necesita o requiere que le tendamos la mano no lo dudemos ni por un momento, sin necesidad de esperar nada a cambio. Eso habla muy bien de nosotros como personas y porque realmente a quien necesitamos agradar es a Díos. Hi @motherhood friends, I hope your week is going well and that your weekend is wonderful. On this side we are doing well thank God. Today was one of those days that start with doubts and end with smiles. It started off raining hard and as many moms know, that means the pool gets cold and my daughter Gaby doesn't like cold water at all. At first she didn't want to go to her swimming class, but we had made a commitment beforehand, to take advantage of the vacations to attend at least four days a week. So, with some reluctance, we ventured out despite the rain.  Before leaving, I told her "Gaby, if we get there and the water is too cold, you don't have to go in" but when we got there, she touched the water and the teacher encouraged her. And that was the beginning of her adventure.  Today there were two new children in the class and the teacher, who knows Gaby's progress well, asked her to help one of them with a swimming technique. You can't imagine Gaby's excitement, I have always noticed that she loves teaching, she is patient, she also likes to feel useful and to share what she knows. The boy, a little older than her, was very receptive and learned quickly. Gaby was happy and I was even happier to see her so committed and generous.    The teacher congratulated her for her perseverance, even though she sometimes gets sick from the chlorine or the cold. And today, in addition to completing her class, she helped another child feel more confident in the water.   I left the pool with a full heart. Because beyond swimming, today Gaby reminded me how valuable effort, commitment and sharing with others is. I always remind my children and today I share it with you, that when it is in our hands to help, let's do it. If someone needs it or requires us to reach out to them, let us not hesitate for a moment, without expecting anything in return. That speaks very well of us as people and because the one we really need to please is God.
