Money has nothing to do with hygiene in the first place; both have different missions. Growing up, I observed a family friend who lived in a comfortable 3-bedroom flat apartment, while we resided in a single room and parlour. Despite our average financial situation, hygiene was a top priority in our home. My Mom instilled in us the importance of neatness, and our apartment reflected this. I recall visiting our wealthier friends and being struck by the dirtiness. Despite their financial resources, their home was often cluttered and dirty. Plates of how many days piled up in the kitchen with weevils jumping around everywhere. So disgusting!

Before, I sat down I would help them tidy up, wash dishes, and organize their belongings, only to be met with the mother's frustration towards her children for not maintaining the space. If you do not imbibe the home training, you cannot expect the outcome to be impressive. This experience taught me that neatness and hygiene are not directly tied to wealth but rather to personal habits and discipline. In my own house, after eating, we wash immediately. We can sweep fifteen times a day because Mom hates to feel sand under her feet and that has been deposited in me also.

Another experience gained from this angle was when my brother rented a house in a compound with limited amenities; there was no space where bathing water could pass through, so you had to go into the bathroom with clean water and come back with dirty water. At first, it was odd for my kind of being, but I was able to cope for the five days I spent with them. Despite the challenges, the residents maintained an impressive level of cleanliness. This showed me that with the right priorities and habits, anyone can maintain a clean and hygienic environment, regardless of their financial situation.
One of my friends gave birth and I went to visit her. On getting to the house where she described, I felt reluctant to believe she could be staying in that kind of a dirty environment, the whole place from the outside of the compound to the passage to the back was like a refuse ground, and my question was, are there people in this place? My friend is rich enough to live in a neat environment, but she chose it the other way round. Let me tell you, I managed to spend 30 minutes before I excused myself. It is well!
Money may provide access to certain resources. Money may help in living comfortably in a conducive af and neat environment, but it is personal discipline and habits that ultimately determine one's level of neatness and hygiene. Your habits and priorities are the driving forces behind maintaining a clean and organized space, not your wealth.
