Success should be meaningful, and not impressive

Namaste everyone🥰
We live in a world that often equates success with visible things money, property, social status, recognition, or academic excellence. While these things are good and desirable, they are not the full picture of success. A wealthy person without peace of mind is not truly successful. A famous person without genuine relationships may still feel empty. A person with academic honors who lacks personal growth or self-acceptance may still be struggling inwardly. This shows us that success is not measured only by what can be seen, but also by what is felt within.
That's why this discussion is based on how individuals perceive success. To many, success is not defined the same way. Some think fame makes them succeed, some believe academics define success, while others see it in being wealthy. Some also hold the view that success is about having children or building a family, while others believe it is measured by career growth or high achievements. Truly, there is no single yardstick that fits all, because success is personal, and each individual defines it based on their experiences, goals, and values.

However, from my own perspective, I believe that when you can achieve in all aspects, it can be referred to as being successful. Success is defined as living a life that reflects values, growth, progress, small or big impact, peace of mind, a healthy lifestyle, good relationships, and self-acceptance. Success should be meaningful, and not impressive. What I tagged as success in my own way

• The signs of success should be in relation to personal values. When you live in a way that reflects what you truly believe in, you are successful. It could mean integrity, kindness, value, or creativity. Whatever it is, when your life and choices reflect your core values, you have achieved something meaningful that is to say, one is successful.

• Success is progress. Success does not always mean having everything figured out at once. It can be found in the small steps we take each day. Learning a new skill, breaking a bad habit, improving health, or simply becoming more patient than before, starting from little beginnings, these are all pathways to success. The mistake people make is waiting until they achieve something big before they call themselves successful. In reality, every step of growth is success in itself, let's appreciate little wins.

• Being successful is also about being impactful. It doesn’t have to be on a grand scale. A kind word, a helping hand, or a little contribution to someone else’s happiness is already success. When you know that your presence, no matter how small, adds value to others, how compassionate you are to the needy around you can make your living a successful one.

• Peace of mind, true success is about peace of mind and self-acceptance. You may have money, family, fame, or a great career, but if you constantly battle with restlessness or self-doubt, you will not feel successful. On the other hand, when you find peace in your journey and accept yourself, stand in your weaknesses to regain the strength. In conclusion, we should all know that success is beyond wealth, children, fame, family, career, and achievement. These things may be parts of success, but they do not define it completely. Success is not about impressing the world, it's about living meaningfully.
