I suppose many people will have had the same experience as I did on this occasion. I only saw the stone floor, a stone path that I had walked countless times, night and day. But in the morning it looked particularly different. I said to myself, what a beautiful thing, a beautiful image that I must preserve somehow...
I don't know if I woke up in a good mood, I don't know if this day was destined to be a lucky one, honestly, after taking this photo, I don't remember if it was a day different from other weekends. What made it different was this sunrise.
Actually, I didn't tell you, these photos were taken during a sunrise in my city and at my workplace. I don't know if that was what made the moment special, perhaps welcoming the day in all its splendor. But not welcoming it as many do, seeing the mountains or the sea and watching the sun rise and bring life to everything around it. In this case, observing only the ground I was walking on and appreciating how the beauty of that ground comes to life, noticing how different it is when I decide to pay a little attention to it.
I suppose that's where the beauty of things lies. In the end, it's each person's perspective and making it a unique moment among so many moments.

Supongo que a muchos les pasará como me ocurrió en esta ocasión, sólo vi el piso de piedras, un camino de piedras que había recorrido incontables veces, de noche y de día. Pero, en la mañana parecía particularmente distinto, dije que cosa tan bonita, una hermosa imagen que debo conservar de alguna manera…
No sé si es que me había levantado de buen humor, no sé si este día estaba destinado a ganar la lotería, sinceramente, después de tomar esta foto, no recuerdo si fue un día diferente a otros fines de semana. Lo que lo hizo diferente fue este amanecer.
A verdad, no les dije, estas fotos fueron tomadas durante un amanecer en mi ciudad y en mi lugar de trabajo. No sé si eso fue lo especial del momento, tal vez recibir el día en todo su esplendor. Pero no recibirlo cómo muchos lo hacen, de ver a las montañas o al mar y ver cómo aparece el sol y le da vida a todo a su alrededor, en este caso, observar sólo el suelo que pisaba y apreciar como la belleza de ese suelo cobra vida, notar lo diferente que es cuando decido prestarle un poco de atención.
Supongo que ahí yace la belleza de las cosas, al final es la perspectiva de cada quién y hacerlo un momento único entre tantos momentos.
