After a long time I'm back and happy to show you my latest work. My friend @dailygiveaways asked me if I could make him a thumbnail for his daily "THGaming Delegation Giveaway". Of course I agreed and started working on it right away. 😎
Nach langer Zeit melde ich mich zurück und freue mich Euch mein neuestes Werk zu zeigen. Mein Freund @dailygiveaways hat mich gefragt ob ich ihm ein Thumbnail für sein tägliches "THGaming Delegations Giveaway" machen könnte. Selbstverständlich habe ich zugesagt und habe sofort mit der Arbeit angefangen. 😎

Ich hoffe es gefällt Euch. Ich für meinen Teil bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis.
Here I would like to show you step by step how the thumbnail was created. I worked with the free program "Blender 3D".
Hier möchte ich Euch Schritt für Schritt zeigen wie das Thumbnail entstanden ist. Gearbeitet habe ich mit dem kostenlosen Programm "Blender 3D"
I started with this simple plane and extruded it.
Ich habe mit dieser einfachen Platte begonnen und habe sie extrudiert.
The 2nd step was to make a hexagon out of it.
Der 2. Schritt war es ein Hexagon daraus zu machen.
The 3rd step was to cut the Hive logo from it.
Der 3. Schritt war es das Hive Logo daraus zu cutten.
Step 4: The rings of the logo created.
Die Ringe vom Logo erstellt.
The 5th step was to create a small cube and place it between the rings.
Der 5. Schritt war es, einen kleinen Würfel zu erstellen und ihn zwischen den Ringen zu platzieren.
The 6th step was to copy this cube 100 times in a circle.
Der 6. Schritt war es diesen Würfel 100 mal im Kreis zu kopieren.
The 7th step was the middle part.
Der 7. Schritt war das Mittelteil.
The 8th step was the "$THGaming" lettering. Because it is a lot of work to model the single letters, I decided to use a font that comes pretty close to the original.
Der 8. Schritt war der "$THGaming" Schriftzug. Da es aber eine menge Arbeit ist die einzelnen Buchstaben nach zu modellieren, habe ich mich dazu entschieden einen Font zu benutzen, der dem Original ziemlich nah kommt.
The 9th step was again a simple surface that serves as a background.
Der 9. Schritt war wieder eine einfache Fläche die als Hintergrund dient.
In the 10th step I added more text.
Im 10. Schritt habe ich weitere Schrift hinzugefügt.
In the 11th step I copied the text and enlarged it a bit to give the font that extra something.
Im 11. Schritt habe ich den Text kopiert und ein wenig vergrößert, um der Schrift das gewisse etwas zu geben.
In the 12th step, I placed a plate behind the THGaming lettering to make it more prominent.
Im 12. Schritt habe ich eine Platte hinter den THGaming Schriftzug platziert, um ihn hervorzuheben.
To make the whole thing a bit more complex, I gave the plate a tube in the 13th step.
Um das ganze ein bisschen komplexer zu machen, habe ich der Platte im 13. Schritt ein Rohr gegönnt.
That was the end of the modeling. Now it was time to give the individual objects materials.
Damit war das modellieren beendet. Jetzt war es Zeit den einzelnen Objekten Materialien zu geben.
In the 15th step, I just had to position the camera correctly and render the image.
Im 15. Schritt musste ich nur noch die Kamera richtig positionieren und das Bild rendern.
