Hello, dear Hivers! 🍁
Finally, we got to October, the best month in the whole year. For me, it's the month of the “Anne of Green Gables”, Friends and tea. I'm more of an autumnal person, especially love the colors of nature, its aura, and the wonderful terrains on horseback.
However, this October is quite busy for me, as the exhibition is getting closer and closer, and less time gives me shivers in my back, as it is a hell of work.
Anyway, I prepared a sketch of a woman whom I'll be painting - Simona Kossak, from the famous Kossak family of Poland. She was a remarkable woman and an animal activist, and she protected nature in the oldest forest in Eastern Europe - Białowieża. Her wit and stubbornness got to the point that the amount of hunting wild animals in Poland decreased.
But more about her I'll tell soon, after I finish her main portrait. But today, I wanted to present a sketch of her.
The following sketches are coming from my new sketchbook, Simona’s portrait is the latest one. I created those using Promarkes from Winsor&Newton, at the moment my favorite drawing tool.
