I recall searching for a movie that I could relate to after my dad passed.
I was looking for some sort of escape from reality and turned to movies among other things.
I found the movie About Time and i remember how I didn't want it to end.
The movie just wasn't about the relationship the main lead -Tim- had with the woman he loved but the one he had with life, and his father.
The film reminded me again and again (cos I watched it an embarrassing number of time) that while Loss sucks a big time, it will forever be an unchangeable aspect of life.
At the ending scene where Tim goes back in time to see his father one last time was one thing I wished I could do but most definitely cannot... I always tear up at the scene but it reminds me that we should always, always, always live fully, smile more often and make memories with our loved ones so that when the inevitable finally happens, we have so very little room for regret.
