Paintings that save in a lifestyle where very little value is placed on the soul.
It is often said that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and that it is through the eyes with which we look at those around us that we build our own soul. It is a little complicated and almost impossible to talk about these terms without thinking about religious doctrine and that sort of thing, since not all of us have a clear concept and definition of the soul. We don't all think the same way.
Even so, I dare to say and acknowledge that through painting I share only 15% of my soul, since the artistic expression I achieve through graffiti is something I do especially in difficult moments when I feel like I can't take it anymore. I need not only to vent, but also to free myself from so many problems that happen in my daily life. Not all of these problems are financial; some are emotional, affecting and diminishing my own physical abilities, even my ability to concentrate.

However, in graffiti I find a form of liberation, not only to express feelings and ideas, since, as you can see, my designs are not very expressive, and anyone who observes them would not have a clear image to interpret beyond simple graffiti letters.
This is not because of laziness or a lack of creativity, but rather because of the way we have to use the few materials we have. Yes, I would love to create images with faces, cartoons, a sky, a landscape, to write my name in 3D-style letters, and thus create a complete wall piece with which I could express exactly what I want to say, what I think and feel at that specific moment. However, I have to do it with what I have at my disposal
It has happened in previous situations that I want to create graffiti with a face, add the right elements, and work on the background, but I realize that waiting to have all the materials to create graffiti, which I do using materials that I buy myself with my own money, money that I earn from my own work and salary, is where the dilemma of whether to buy paint or food begins. This is very frustrating, and that is why I have been doing graffiti in this little by little, because sometimes it's better to do what we can with what we have than to do nothing at all.
From my lifestyle, where you might want to convey a slightly deeper message directly to my community, to feed their awareness, to feed the way they look at the world, because there's that saying that goes, "The day we understand that we are not all the same, that day there will be equality."
I love street art, I love graffiti, the underground culture of hip hop combined with graffiti and skateboarding make the world a better place for me.
Year after year, I tried to reform and integrate new participants and people who could contribute, collaborate, help, and above all, lend their good energy and willingness to this cultural group that we have called Hurto Crew, brothers united, scratching all of Oriente, which is what their acronym means. However, many people do it with excitement at first, with enthusiasm, with hope, perhaps to get out of the routine and change to something different, but when they see that they have to make an effort, all the work that has to be done, I feel that this demotivates them, and right now, people are not giving 100% of their concentration to something long-term. Everyone has short-term rewards and incentives, but even so, I am certain that I will not give up. I know that art will save us and create a better world.
To all those who love urban culture and firmly believe that art is fundamental for educating new generations, I'm sure you enjoyed this post. Greetings to all, we love you very much. Thank you for reading my post to the end.
