The day the sky was Receding.
Lifestyle.
I'll start with a bit of sarcasm, since the utmost style is sometimes shown in the audiovisuals I've created, but this time I'm here to share a little anecdote about my most recent job, since I went from being a worker specializing in painting to being a security guard.
Here in Punta de Mata, it is impossible to ignore the color of the sky due to the gas burners that produce flames, which are reflected in the clouds and give us an amazing reddish hue. However, when it is 3 a.m. and we are watching that sky, feeling a little cold and surrounded by the gloomy darkness of the night, many thoughts come to mind, some of which are terrifying.
This past Sunday, around 2 or 3 in the morning, I was watching the sky and making some drawings of the kind I like to do, with that ugly, somewhat diabolical face that some people consider. I heard several noises that caught my attention, since here in the village there are different stories and tales about ghosts and evil spirits. I am really a person who does not believe in this kind of thing, although I cannot deny that I have observed some opportunities for things that are simply inexplicable and at the same time terrifying.
But that night, something very strange happened while I was taking these photographs, because for a moment the sky began to turn upside down.
.
Yes, as you hear it here, we know that clouds travel from north to south, but suddenly there was some kind of change in the direction of the wind, which I imagine is what caused the clouds to reverse direction. But for at least 30 seconds, this really shocked me, and I couldn't take out my cell phone to record the moment, but accompanying this strange movement and atmospheric change, which may have been the cause of this irregularity, there was also a very deep and disturbing sound that came from all directions. I can't say whether it came from above or below. It was an overwhelming and desperate sound.
- Horror stories aren't my thing, nor are beliefs in ghosts or spirits, but here is my account of the moment when the sky receded.
