With staking on LeoDex via Arbitrum going live soon, I’m pretty sure I want to bridge my entire stack of LEO from Hive to Arbitrum.
And honestly I‘m shitting bricks here.
So many irrational fears.
This is the largest dollar amount of a single token I’ve ever had to move, and the thought of it is not fun.
I know bridging is a well-established process and the inLeo team has done a ton of work to make it seamless, but my mind keeps going to all the things that could go wrong.
What if I paste the wrong address?
What if I have a trojan?
What if there's a network glitch?
I know these are irrational fears, but the potential for a single, irreversible mistake is a heavy feeling I’m struggling to shake.
This will force me to concentrate
Despite the nerves, I know this is what I have to do.
The future of LEO is on Arbitrum and staking on the new LeoDex is the clear path forward.
The rewards from staking and the growth of LEO outside of Hive make the jump worth it.
With the numbers LeoDex is doing, there is just too much money to be made on that side to leave my LEO powered up.
It’s happening.
See you on the other side.
To ease my fears, I’ve been doing some small test transfers first.
I’m not sure whether I want to break up my transfer into smaller chunks.
Would I lose any more in fees say breaking it into quarters rather than doing one lump sum transfer?
I think it would work out the same?
Anyway, I just wanted to get this off my chest and see if any of you can relate to my anxieties.
Are you nervous about moving your LEO too?
Let me know in the comments.
I’d love to hear a story of yours about moving a large chunk of crypto that isn’t LEO and how you handled it.
Best of probabilities to you.
Dane.
