My Sunday ritual

Is it just me or is the weekend always over too fast?

One minute, it's Friday afternoon.

Next, I’m sitting on the couch with my laptop and the sun is going down on Sunday night.

And that feeling starts to creep in.

That little voice in the back of my head reminding me of everything I have to do tomorrow.

I used to hate it.

Then I developed a ritual.

A routine to fight back.

The reset

It’s not complicated, it's just a mix of a few simple things.

First, I do a quick physical reset.

I clean my workspace. A tidy desk for a tidy mind.

I clear the clutter. I put everything away. It's a small act of taking control. It feels good.

Then, I do the mental reset.

I take a few minutes to write down my top three priorities for the coming week.

No more than three.

This clears the mental fog and gives me a clear direction for the week ahead.

Get those three things done first thing Monday morning and I can start the week properly.

The power of this ritual

Rituals like this are just tiny things.

By getting these three things done first, I ensure that my energy is spent on what's most impactful.

This approach helps me avoid feeling overwhelmed and provides a clear, actionable plan for the week.

It sets me up for success.

Might be something worth trying if you’re feeling a little lost..

Best of probabilities to you.

Dane.
