Tonight Cronulla travelled to the nation’s capital for their second elimination final in a row and got it done against Canberra 32–12.
Cold night. Big stage. Semi-final.
Canberra started the match strong, controlling early and getting ahead.
But Cronulla turned the game before half-time with my boy Nicho Hynes pulling the strings, setting up tries, scoring one and shifting momentum.
From there the result was never in doubt.
The Cronulla defensive line held firm while the pressure got to Canberra, forcing them to blow chance after chance.
The experienced Sharkies holding firm and getting it done.
Now they head south to face Melbourne in the preliminary final next Friday night.
One win away from another grand final.
