This might come as a surprise to many... but believe me, I have actually had some thought on it for a couple of months now. No one knew I would be planning for this, and after committing to @hivefest, I said... that's it, I have to do it...
But first, let's step back a bit... and fund more of my motivation for doing these things. An example, not the only thing obviously, but just to warm up what I really want to message people about.
WeWard Space Boots League
Last week, I finished in first place over the previous Platinum trainers League on the WeWard app, which I have been using for a while now.
And the reason I am bringing this up is because I see huge potential in people who are on Hive...
To SHOW they are on Hive!
The experience I have been having by just being around this app and doing what I usually do, showed me... "This is fricking crazy possible!"
What?! I had almost zero work on experimenting with something like this, putting my avatar, creating a community for people to join/support and eventually, the attraction of everyone will create the momentum. Meanwhile, through the natural course of that process, people start asking themselves, "What in hell is Hive and this symbol..."
People actually get curious, why someone is showing something else and start looking at it almost like a trend... "they want to be a part of the trend too...", cause that's how most society thinks.
So, what drives you on a daily basis in web2 things? Go there, and first see if you can share the image of Hive without breaking whatever T&C's things. And if yes, just enjoy the best (in my view) onboarding free method of bringing people to try Hive. EXPOSURE!
Obviously, none of these initiatives would be possible if you don't know people around you. So, GO MEET SOME!
For example, I knew @new.things would be a massive supporter of something that is already his daily plate (running, walking, etc), and I knew he would totally beat me on steps (hence why I friendly teased him 😜... although I was also certain he would happily support the idea). One plus one makes two, and you suddenly have a group! This is not rocket science... It's just common sense!
But it's not just single people that make things possible... It's the "family" thing we all are in here... Looooooooooooooooooook!
Look around YOU!
Spend time knowing people, carving memories in your damn fricking mind, and you will see how much the power of listening is actually not overrated.
And I don't know everyone in this (only) 8-person group on the community I have created on this WeWard app. Which is amazing by itself, because the effort here has been minimal, but once everyone helps, the impact starts to compound.
So, thank you all for helping... it never goes unnoticed from my end at least. And this actually helps me stay fit, because it's something I run/walk for pleasure. And not just because I need (or it's good for me).
More NEWS after Hive Fest... hopefully I can find some support in Malaysia... and even if people don't do steps or use the app, just the gesture of supporting the group, makes a HUGE difference!

I, me, being me, being forky, being a person that loves decentralisation, technology and meeting people, never had such a hobby in life that I would have stuck with for so long. This means quite a lot to me...
And I try to support, help as much as I can around... trying to at least tease some "pattern" or motivation for others to follow. Being an example is hard to be honest (I kind of hate it and love it at the same time)... it has a lot of responsibility and the effort can never sleep. Because if I mess up or someone uses my motivation in the wrong way, people will see me as the bad model... right? It's not easy. Even in real life.
So, I am going to HiveFest... RIGHT? Yes... (just in case I got you there LOL)...
Yes, I am GOING TO HIVE FEST!!! Fricking need some vacations... damn it!

Yep... if those few words made any sense, yep... that's what it means...
I will be reducing ALL my delegations to 1 HP by the end of this month, and some will even disappear... in order to be at the HiveFest with ~99% of my Hive power...
No, it's not definitive, it's just because I want to EXPERIENCE it!
For me, Hive is not just a monetary value... It's mostly a huge amount of pride in a community that allowed me to be able to do things in a place no other technology can... There, I have said it!
Now you see me FOMO, right? 🤣 That's right... I am FOMOing with my own thing... 😂 And I fricking love it... The joy, the acknowledgement, the feeling of achievement, that everyone should always seek. It's really amazing... I have no better words to describe it (I can only experience it and recommend others to try it).
What this means as a consequence...
Everything has a consequence... EVERYTHING!
Unfortunately, this means that I will not be doing my usual #giveaway on the October #HPUD... and once the end of September reaches, I will remove all the delegations from the previous HPUD Giveaway winners.
But I will be back! 😎
On the following month (November), obviously... Look at it like some sort of vacation period (it's actually a vacation for me LOL) and I will have to review delegations and depending on my experience (which might or might not change what I want to do with my HP), plan the new future for me on Hive.
How is this good for Hive?
It shows (hopefully) to all of you, how "The Hive Community" value is important to the blockchain history (literally block by block)... I am trying to make evidence that the pleasure of witnessing and working with something that I experimented with 8 years ago can do lots... even if some of us still think we can't do much with just a few souls...
I want to prove wrong to lots of people that, "the obstacle many people think to be the one that prevents them from success" is often themselves... YOU CAN IF YOU WANT!
