The TallNeck circled an ancient dish, unreachable without a bold climb. I faced Scrappers and a relentless Skydrifter before finally restoring power and aligning the dish. With a risky glide, I leapt onto the machine's back and reached its head. Overriding it felt like waking the Old World.

A TallNeck was circling a stranger, dish-like Old World structure. Overriding it should provide data on the surrounding area. But how to reach its head? To nail that, I had to move towards it.

After getting close to the TallNeck, I noticed it was not alone. There was a Skydrifter flying around and some Scrappers scrapping around as well. I thought of taking down the Skydrifter first and I even tried silent strike on it but it survived and escaped.

The Skydrifter then screamed loudly and called the Scrappers that ran towards me and started attacking me. When I was attacking the Scrapper back, I didn't notice how much I was losing blood and then suddenly the Scrapper took me down.

At the nearest restart, I sneakily took down the scrapper first when the skydrifter was on air and then I escaped the place fast as the skydrifter noticed me.

I used my mount to get afar from the spot as the skydrifter was scanning for me and then I took a chance to get behind it and tried a silent strike on it. The skydrifter survived and it went crazy.

I hardly went below the Old World structure and found another scrapper scrapping some machines. I took it down with a silent strike.

The skydrifter kept looking around for me and it managed to damage my health as well but I didn't give up this time. I kept attacking it and I destroyed it using my spear.

Now, to climb the TallNeck, I had to get up on the Old World structure and find a good height. So I started climbing up but there was a deadline where I had to rotate something.

I found a power cell there that I put out of the device and I put it inside the generator that was below the structure and then I had to go for the console I found earlier.

After activating the console, the upper part of the structure started moving, but it was stuck at a point.

There was an error for the rotation as the dish alignment was incomplete. I didn't know what to do but I tried and shot some cables that stuck the dish and it rotated again.

After climbing on top of the dish or antenna or whatever it was, I had to try a big jump towards the TallNeck. I already guessed I'd have to use the glide to get to the TallNeck as there was a big gap.

Using the glide, I held onto a part of the TallNeck and then I had to jump up the rest when the machine was on move. It looked dangerous when I was doing the jump but it was worth it.

After climbing the top of the TallNeck that didn't look like a head, but a disk, I used the photo mode for a wide angle shot and then I overridden the machine.

I still don't know how overriding helps me, but I keep doing it whenever I find one of them around. After rappelling down from the TallNeck, I was enjoying the sunset.
