Today makes it two months after Luke's surgery and I cannot believe I have my brother back. For a moment I thought I was going to lose my little brother. It was heartbreaking to see him groan in pain and sleep in that uncomfortable hospital bed.
Watching him grow thinner and thinner broke my heart. Luke is one happy child; watching him become a shadow of himself was really sad, and I wish I could take away his pain as his big brother.
Luke and my Dad got into an accident on their way to Luke's chess tournament but the impact of the accident was on Luke's side hence, the severity of Luke's condition.
It's been a sad month for my family and me as we all struggled to be strong for Luke. He was in a critical condition, and we all thought he was not going to make it. As we watched him struggle for his life daily, we never stopped praying and hoping.
A few weeks ago, we got the best gift of our lives, Luke was out of the woods and was showing great progress. That day, we literally threw a party in the hospital as we leapt for joy and cried uncontrollably, our chipmunk was going to be back with us again.
Two weeks after his discharge from the hospital, Luke is slowly becoming himself and I we are all happy to see and witness his progress.

I missed my brother dearly and it was so nice to have him back. We played a few simple games as my mum warned us against stressing his stiches. Among all our games, the pillow fight remains my favourite. Watching Luke giggle as he hits me with his pillow makes me happy. I always let him win and it's always nice to see him jubilate after his victory.
Luke is my only brother and I pray nothing happens to him.
In this picture, I can see two little boys playing happily and I can feel that they are so excited to play together.
Thank you for stopping by my Blog today.
