The offseason is starting to get to that point where all we want to see is some basketball. But, there's still some news and rumors flying around that we can talk about.
Derrick Rose to Cleaveland

Derrick Rose has decided to sign for a one year and a veterans minimum salary of $2.1 million, this coming after Kyrie reportedly demanded a trade. I must add that this is an absolute steal for the Cavaliers as Derrick Rose is coming off a season where he averaged 18 points on 47% shooting, however, he did only play 64 games as he once again went down with a knee injury. If the Cavaliers end up losing Kyrie Irving, Derrick Rose certainly is a down-grade but not a dreadful one. Derrick Rose signing with Cleveland not only allows Rose to contend for a championship but also possibly play a starting role, if Kyrie does in fact leave.
Bad news for Suns

Brandon Knight of the Pheonix Suns has gone down with a torn ACL this coming after his worst season to date. This is very unfortunate news not so much for the Suns but for Knight himself. It is going to be very difficult for him to return to his former self. The man just does not seem to get a break in his NBA career. I hope for his sake he can take this time to re-evaluate his career and know exactly where he wants to be and what needs to be done, coming out of injury. I wish the man best of luck!!
Kyrie Irving Drama
As much as I don't want to talk about it, the situation seems to be absolute chaos as the media are having a field day running stories and rumors, and in my opinion running their mouths. There are so many conflicting reports with some saying Lebron is highly annoyed with the whole situation and others saying Lebron doesn't want to get too involved. All I know is that the whole NBA landscape is shook up by the news and that Kyrie and Lebron have not actually publicly said much about the whole situation. At this point, I am going to hold off on making any assumptions until we all know more about the situation.
