Para celebrar esta transición entre dos festividades tan especiales, quise crear una decoración que las combine: un personaje muy querido por su película El extraño mundo de Jack (¡sí, Jack Skellington!) con un gorrito navideño . El resultado es una pieza sencilla, rápida de hacer y perfecta para darle un toque diferente al arbolito o cualquier rincón especial.
Hello my love 💖. We're already closing out October, that magical month of Halloween that I love so much, and entering Christmas Eve, another time that fills me with joy. To celebrate this transition between two such special holidays, I wanted to create a decoration that combines them: a beloved character from the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas (yes, Jack Skellington!) with a Christmas hat. The result is a simple, quick-to-make piece that's perfect for adding a unique touch to a Christmas tree or any special corner.

- Foami verde (para la mano del Grinch)
Green foam (for the Grinch's hand)
- Marcador negro (para dibujar los ojos, detalles y contornos)
Black marker (for drawing eyes, details and outlines)
- 🧵 Hilo transparente (tipo el que se usa para hacer pulseras, ideal para ensamblar sin que se note)
Transparent thread (the type used to make bracelets, ideal for assembling without being noticeable)
- Foami rojo (para el gorrito navideño y la manga estilo suéter)
Red foam (for the Christmas hat and sweater-style sleeve)
- Foami escarchado blanco (para darle ese toque brillante a los detalles navideños)
White frosted foam (to give that sparkly touch to Christmas details)
- Pintura al frío verde (opcional, para darle textura a la mano del Grinch)
Green frosted paint (optional, to give texture to the Grinch's hand)

Step by Step: Jack in the Christmas Spirit
En los moldes que compartí, verán que dibujé los ojos. Esto lo hice para darles dos opciones: - Pueden recortar los ojos en foami negro y pegarlos sobre la cara de Jack. - O simplemente pintarlos con marcador negro, como muestro en la imagen.
In the templates I shared, you'll see that I drew the eyes. I did this to give you two options: - You can cut the eyes out of black foam and glue them onto Jack's face. - Or simply paint them with a black marker, as shown in the image.
Ambas opciones funcionan muy bien, así que elijan la que les resulte más fácil o divertida.
Both options work very well, so choose the one that is easiest or most fun for you.
💚 Toque Grinch navideño
Christmas Grinch Touch
Para complementar, agregué la mano del Grinch. Esta vez la dibujé directamente sobre el fondo verde y fui recortando lo que sería la manga, simulando un suéter navideño con sus partes blanca y roja. Cada pieza fue ensamblada con cuidado, y a la mano le di detalles con marcador negro y pintura al frío verde. Esto queda a gusto de cada quien, pueden jugar con los acabados.
To complete the look, I added the Grinch's hand. This time, I drew it directly on the green background and cut out what would become the sleeve, simulating a Christmas sweater with its white and red sections. Each piece was carefully assembled, and I added details to the hand with a black marker and cool green paint. This is up to everyone's taste; you can play with the finishes.
Para unir todo: - Usé hilo transparente (el que se usa para hacer pulseras) y lo pegué con silicón frío a los dos deditos del Grinch.
To join everything: - I used clear thread (the kind used to make bracelets) and glued it to the Grinch's two fingers with silicone glue.
- Luego pegué la cabeza de Jack, y así quedó ensamblada toda la pieza.
Then I glued Jack's head on, and that's how the whole piece was assembled.
