This lovely looking flower is often called morning-glory, it's a wine that grows fast and develops large purple or blue flowers. It's originating from Mexico and Central America, but can now be found here and there, all over the globe, it's a very popular plant amongst gardening enthusiast.

It's also an ethnobotanical plant and it has been used by native tribes in Mexico for spiritual and medicinal use, referred to as "ololuiqui" and various different names, the seeds are also said to aid childbirth so if you are pregnant don't consume these seeds. According to wikipedia the seeds sold commercially are treated with something called "Methylmercury", sounds nice right?

The "methylmercury" is supposed to make people sick, and prevent anyone from enjoying the seeds. So if you're looking for a mystical experience don't eat the seeds they sell in the supermarket, you will most probably get quite sick.

Disclaimer: And if you do try to eat the seeds and you get sick, don't blame me I tried to warn you...
