Good morning, Hive-ians! 😊
This was my practice run for making myself a birthday cake from scratch. The flavour was nice, but the icing was way too sweet, so I’m going to have to figure out how to make it less sweet while keeping the consistency of this one’s icing, it came out like we like it, just a bit too sweet. 😊
We’ve gotten quite a bit of snow this week. 😊
All the fresh snow has made our pretty puppy mom Karma happy, she loves winter. 😊

We’ve been getting a lot of Snow Buntings stopping by this week, like this one, it’s the smaller of the three flocks that have popped in for a snack. 😊
The pretty black and white female pigeon, that we Hope, has stopped in each day this week, sometimes with other pigeons and sometimes with the Snow Buntings. 😊

My handsome husband and I made some brown bread to get us through the weekend, yum. 😊
Every year the Snow Buntings come back and enjoy this spot in our front yards as the dogs lose their mind because its in their dog run area. 😊
