In Madrid, a heat wave made me stop for a moment. It could have been the harbinger of something I couldn't recognize or didn't want to see.
So I breathed, rested, and carried on, as always, like every day, like every time.
They sprayed us with water while we ate a sandwich, I walked, walked, and walked.
So much beauty, dazzling those days that anticipated the inevitable, what was already broken.
