Saludos hivers de #HivePets, para hoy les tengo un caso especial. Ella es **La Gorda** y es la mayor de la casa. Tiene 17 años y fue rescatada hace 12 años junto a sus 6 hijos de dos partos diferentes. Asà que esta será una linda historia de vida que les voy a compartir.
> Greetings hivers from #HivePets, I have a special case for you today. She's **La Gorda** and the oldest in the house. She's 17 years old and was rescued 12 years ago along with her six children from two different births. So this will be a lovely life story that I'm going to share with you.
Como ya les comenté, **La Gorda** tiene 17 años de edad, es la mayor de toda la casa y por supuesto la más consentida de todos aquÃ. Se podrÃa decir que es la reina felina de nuestra fundación. Y es que le tenemos mucho cariño porque su historia es realmente conmovedora.
A ella la rescatamos hace 12 años con sus 6 hijos de 2 partos diferentes, los cuales estaban bajo peligro de ser envenenados. Ellos eran cuidados por una señora mayor de unos 80 años y no sólo los cuidaba a ellos sino también a muchos otros gatitos de la calle.
> As I already mentioned, **La Gorda** is 17 years old, the oldest in the house, and of course the most spoiled of everyone here. You could say she's the feline queen of our foundation. And we love her so much because her story is truly moving.

> We rescued her 12 years ago with her six kittens from two different births, all of whom were in danger of being poisoned. They were cared for by an elderly woman in her 80s, who cared not only for them but also for many other stray kittens.
Nosotras siempre ayudábamos a la señora con los gatitos, le pasábamos comida y estábamos atenta de los más pequeños para conseguirles casa y también con los gastos médicos para sus vacunas, pero luego empezó la tragedia, alguien de por aquà empezó a envenarlos y muchos murieron lenta y dolorosamente.
Intentamos salvar a los que pudimos pero lamentablemente no lo logramos, sin embargo con **La Gorda** fue un caso extraordinario. A ella si pudimos rescatarla a tiempo y mientras buscábamos fondos para su esterilización salió embarazada de 2 gatitos que actualmente están vivos también y tienen 15 años cada uno.
> We always helped the woman with the kittens, giving them food and taking care of the little ones, finding them homes and also covering the medical expenses for their vaccinations, but then tragedy struck. Someone from around here started poisoning them, and many died slowly and painfully.

> We tried to save those we could, but unfortunately, we weren't able to. However, with **La Gorda**, it was an extraordinary case. We were able to rescue her in time, and while we were seeking funds for her spay/neuter, she became pregnant with two kittens, who are also currently alive and are each 15 years old.
Sus dos primeros hijos se llaman *Chispita* y *Blanquita*. Al poco tiempo volvió a embarazarse y tuvo entonces 4 gatitos más a los cuales llamamos: *Bigotes, Fresito* (tiene ese nombre porque primero creÃamos que era niña y le pusimos Fresita 😹 y luego nos dimos cuenta que era macho), también está *Lolita* y *Hadita*.
Igualmente cada uno de ellos tienen 15 años porque **La Gorda** los tuvo casi de inmediato, entró en celo muy rápido y no nos dió chance de esterilizarla en ese momento tampoco. Entonces entre estos medio hermanos felinos hay como unos 8 meses de diferencia.
Luego de haberlos rescatado nos amenzaron de nuevo con quererlos envenenar si seguÃan caminando por la zona. Esto nos obligó a actuar más rápido y tuvimos que armar un anexo en la parte de atrás de la casa o mejor dicho en el patio para llevanos finalmente a la mamá con sus 6 gatitos.
También rescatamos a un macho y una hembrita que también era una viejita. Ella ya no está con nosotros pero vivió el resto de sus dÃas feliz a nuestro lado y falleció tras vivir unos 20 años.
En cuanto a la gorda, la esterilizamos finalmente y ya tiene con nosotras 12 años, resguardada, sin peligro, sin salir de la casa, super feliz, hermosa y luego de que empezó a quedarse con nostras aquà en la casa, fue que empezó a crecerle el pelo y ponerse asà de peluda y bonita.

> Her first two kittens are named *Chispita* and *Blanquita*. Shortly after, she became pregnant again and had four more kittens, whom we named *Mustaches* and *Fresito* (named after us because we initially thought it was a girl and named him *Fresita*, but later realized it was a boy).
