Mommy Brain 🧠

About a week ago I was watching a Tik Tok video of a mom, titled *"No one ever told you your sharp memory will be sacrificed to become a mom."* She was comparing how brainy she used to be before she became a mom to how she now struggles to remember simple things. And I could very much relate to her story, reading her comment section, I realized so many moms are experiencing the same thing.‎ Fast forward to yesterday. I was talking with two friends on two different occasions, and they both have two things in common. ‎They are both mothers of two, and they forget simple things easily. As a mother of one, I have had my fair share of forgetting things so easily until recently, when I got a home remedy that helps. Before I share my remedy with you, I would love to ask what your experience is like as a mom. ‎As a mother, do you experience this? Does your retentive memory seem to decline after becoming a mom? Does your once-brainy head now struggle to remember a simple address? How have you been coping with this? What are you doing to still have your sharp memory? As for me, sometimes I simply laugh 😂 at myself, as I still can't believe a once mathematics guru in her class now forgets a simple phone number. ‎I felt like this is a huge issue that affects us women, and we hardly speak about it. I remember while growing up we used to tease my mom that she forgot things a lot most times. We were kids and naive; perhaps if I knew better, I could have been more understanding and even tried to search for a remedy for her condition. ‎The first day it dawned on me that my memory is not what it used to be was two weeks after the delivery of my son. I went to a health center to obtain his birth certificate, and I simply forgot to mention his complete name. I told the national identity officer on duty his first name and last name but forgot to state his middle name. How embarrassing and annoying! I had to visit the health center a second time to get the error corrected. At first I attributed this to the anesthesia given to me during the C-section, but it's now three years down the line, and I still kind of struggle to get my brain to where it used to be. ‎Reflecting on that incident, I wonder if my memory will ever be as before. Until recently, I have seen a significant improvement thanks to a new remedy I found. ![1000268461.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/funshee/Eoc8Svau4Jb5bC7UopmS6jEXo7uUQvLS6ewMkJ7rSUaCyf22HX5KsB5XkN7E3Lmipeq.jpg) ‎Every morning, I drink a cup of milk with one spoonful of honey inside. Honey has great effects on the brain; combined with milk, it did the magic for me. Gradually I realize that my memory is getting better; it's still not what it used to be, but there is a significant improvement, and I'm really happy about this.‎ I was curious about why this happened to the woman after giving birth, so I asked our dearest Mr. Google, and here is what it has to say.![Screenshot_20250923-192814_1.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/funshee/23viPHmuErEY2cpC9ehmJWUVmfw1NN78Xj8gGVJQqySydkyQgF5sJXeXCvpJwpBif7Niw.jpg) >Mommy brain Yep, it's called Mommy brain 🧠, and if you are experiencing this as a mom, don't be too hard on yourself; more importantly, this is nothing to be ashamed of. It is part of the sacrifices we have to make as Moms. Find out what helps you improve, take care of yourself, and if it gets severe, seek medical help. Just remember you are not alone, and you can always share your experiences with others or seek support. Your brain Not what it used to be, can be annoying, but what can we do when life hits hard other than accept the new reality and find the best way around the situation? I will continue to find ways, if any, to get my brain to where it used to be, if not better. This is simply my experience, guys, and I hope to hear yours in the comment section if you are a mom, or if you can simply relate to this topic. Thank you for your attention, bye for now, take care ❣️🥰 @funshee
