Tengo una muy buena amiga que me inició acá en la comunidad, y del cual le estoy muy agradecida. Para ella realicé un traje de pantalón y blusa, el que quiero compartir con ustedes, no como un tutorial en sí, si no como una experiencia de poder compartir conocimientos y alegrar corazones.

I have a very good friend who introduced me to this community, and I am very grateful to her. I made her a pantsuit and blouse, which I want to share with you, not as a tutorial per se, but as an experience of sharing knowledge and bringing joy to hearts.
Mi amiga, Rosangel el cual por aquí en la comunidad se conoce como @rosa4r me entregó unos cuantos retazos de tela para que le hiciera algunas piezas. Eran telas que tenían algo de tiempo y llegó su momento. Ahora sería yo, que tendría el reto de convertirlas en piezas útiles para ella.
Luego fue la fase de ¿qué necesita? Su hija estaba por graduase de bachiller, y necesitaba algún conjunto elegante para ir a este acto. Esta fase, es comento fue una elección entre muchos modelos. Sugerencias y gustos. Además, interviene el hecho del tipo de tela, la contextura de la cliente y la expectativa. Eso nos tomó un tiempo definirlo. Esta fue la tela que elegí, la que tenía con mas cantidad, una tela como gabardina, con líneas discretas en color negro.

Then came the question of what she needed. Her daughter was about to graduate from high school and needed an elegant outfit to wear to the ceremony. It took us a while to define it. This was the fabric I chose, the one I had the most of, a gabardine-like fabric with discreet black lines.

Un día antes de la graduación, mi amiga vino a casa y realizamos la prueba y los ajustes al pantalón para que le quedara entallado en la cintura y con bota ancha.
Dejar los detalles, a última hora no es lo ideal, pero logré todo gracias a Dios. Luego nos quedó disfrutar de ese gran momento especial para nosotras como amigas, ver que nuestros hijos recorren su camino y logran metas propuestas.
The day before graduation, my friend came over and we tried on the pants and made adjustments so that they would fit her waist and have wide legs.
Leaving the details to the last minute isn't ideal, but thank God I managed to get everything done. Then we were able to enjoy that special moment for us as friends, seeing our children follow their path and achieve their goals.
Al ver cómo le quedó con sus zapatos altos me sentí muy feliz, primero por ver que su hija ya estaba graduándose de bachiller, y segundo que se haya colocado el conjunto, y lo bien que le quedó. Me siento feliz, que mi apreciada amiga luzca una de mis confecciones finalmente, es un crecimiento para mí como una mujer que le gusta la costura y el patronaje. El resultado vale el esfuerzo.
When I saw how it looked on her with her high heels, I felt very happy, first because her daughter was graduating from high school, and second because she had put on the outfit and it looked so good on her. I am happy that my dear friend is finally wearing one of my creations. It is a step forward for me as a woman who loves sewing and pattern making. The result is worth the effort.
