Greetings, friends. I was recently given a bunch of Legos featuring very interesting and specific characters from various franchises. There are Legos from Dragon Ball, Pokémon, Marvel, and many more. Well, one of the ones I was given was Goku, and another one that I'll show you later was on sale because it didn't have a box, so the first ones I was given were these two. >># Español >>Saludos amigos. Hace poco me regalaron un montón de legos que son de personajes muy curiosos y específicos de diversos personajes. Hay legos de Dragon Ball, Pokemon, Marvel y un montón más. Pues bien, uno de los que me regalaron fue de Goku y otro que les mostraré más adelante que estaba en oferta por no tener cajas, así que los primeros que me regalaron fueron estos dos.  Since it has many pieces, I would like to share with you how I put it together, because it is something I sincerely enjoy very much: building with Legos. >>Como es algo con muchas piezas, me gustaría compartir con ustedes cómo lo he armado, porque es algo que sinceramente me gusta mucho, armar legos. ||| |-|-| This Goku did come with its box, which contained a bag with the Legos and a sheet with the instructions. There are a lot of small pieces, so I don't think this is a toy for small children, but rather something for older children, almost teenagers or adults. >>Este Goku sí traía su caja, la cual tenía una bolsita con los legos y una hojita donde están las instrucciones. Son un montón de piezas pequeñas por lo que considero que este NO es un juguete para niños pequeños, sino algo para niños grandes, casi adolescentes o adultos. ||| |-|-| As you can see on the page, there are lots of drawings showing the pieces we need to make to create Goku. This reminded me a lot of when I make my figurines because it also starts with the feet. These feet are made by creating two small 2x6 pieces, similar to a domino piece, except in this case there are two black pieces and two white pieces, which are joined together to make the feet. >>Como pueden ver en la página trae un montón de dibujos en donde muestra las piezas que tenemos que hacer para lograr el Goku. Esto me recordó mucho a cuando estoy haciendo mis figuritas porque también empieza por los pies. >> >>Estos pies se hacen haciendo dos piecitas de 2x6, similar a una pieza de dominó, solo que en este caso son dos piezas negras y unas blancas, las cuales se unen para hacer los pies. ||| |-|-| The ankles are made up of two blue 2x2 pieces, simulating the blue ankle guards on Goku's uniform. The other piece, at the waist, is a little more complicated to explain, but as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. >>Los tobillos se componen de dos piezas de 2x2 de color azul, simulando las tobilleras azules del uniforme de Goku. La otra pieza, ya de la cintura, es un poco más complicada de explicar, pero como reza el dicho, una imagen vale más que mil palabras. ||| |-|-| All these little pieces come together to form the lower part of the body, from the waist down. It's very interesting to see how it's built and takes shape. Of course, it's much more difficult without a manual, so I think it's a piece of cake with the manual. >>Todas estas piecitas se unen para formar la parte de abajo del cuerpo, de la cintura para abajo. Es muy interesante ver cómo se va construyendo y tomando forma. Por supuesto, es mucho más difícil sin un manual, así que considero que con el manual es pan comido. ||| |-|-| Do the same with the other small pieces at the top. Note that there are small pieces of different colors, all matching the color of Goku's uniform, the logo on his uniform, and Goku's skin color. >>Lo mismo se hace con las otras piecitas de arriba. Lo cual es genial, porque el Pixelart me encanta. ||| |-|-| ||| |-|-| After making the lower and upper parts, I joined the two pieces together to make the entire torso. Now it looks more like Goku. As I said, it's pretty cool to see how the character takes shape from small square and rectangular pieces. >>Después de hacer las partes inferiores y superiores, uní las dos piezas para hacer todo el torso. Así ya parece más Goku, como dije, es algo bastante genial ver cómo el personaje va tomando forma a partir de pequeñas piezas de forma cuadrada y rectangular.  Something I like about these Legos, which I hadn't seen in others, is that the blocks lock together on the sides, not just on the top and bottom. Take a look at the image below, where you can see that the sides have little hooks that fit perfectly with the sides of the other pieces, so they can be locked together to build really stable and cool things. >>Algo que me gusta de estos legos, que no había visto en otros, es que los mismo bloques se traban entre sí a los lados, no solo arriba y abajo. >> >>Fíjense en la imagen de abajo, ahí podrán ver que en los laterales tiene unos ganchitos que encajan a la perfección con los laterales de las otras piezas, por lo que se pueden trabar y construir cosas bastante estables y geniales.  ||| |-|-| I continued with the head, which is basically the largest part of the doll. This part also comes with instructions on how to make the pieces for the face. There are four pieces for the face and four more for the hair. Honestly, these were much easier to assemble than the body parts. >>Ya continué con la parte de la cabeza, que es básicamente la parte más grande del muñeco. Esta parte también trae instrucciones de cómo hacer las piezas para la cara, son en total cuatro para la cara y cuatro más para el cabello. >> >>Estas, sinceramente, fueron mucho más fáciles de armar que las del cuerpo.  |||| |-|-|-| These are the two small pieces that make up Goku's head. As I said, it's like making 3D pixel art. >>Estas son las dos piecitas que hacen la cabeza de Goku. Como dije, es como hacer Pixelart en 3D. ||| |-|-| After assembling the entire doll, I realized something important: it comes with spare parts. I want to believe that they are spare parts, because otherwise I would have extra pieces that I won't use. With this in mind, I decided to improve the doll by placing these pieces in some parts. >>Después de armar todo el muñeco, me di cuenta de algo importante, que trae piezas de repuesto. Quiero creer que son eso, repuestos, porque de otra manera me sobran piezas que no voy a utilizar. Pensando en esto, decidí mejorar el muñeco colocando estas piezas en algunas partes.  For example, I enlarged the torso a little by adding orange pieces, fixed the area where Goku's staff is attached, and also made the legs longer by adding more orange pieces. After fixing them, I just put the pieces together and finished this little Goku made of Legos. >>Por ejemplo, agrandé un poco el torso colocando las piecitas de color naranja, le arreglé el área del báculo que usa Goku y también hice más largas las piernas, también colocando más piezas naranjas. >> >>Después de arreglarlas solo uní las piezas completas y terminé a este pequeño Goku hecho de legos. ||| |-|-| ||| |-|-| #### Here are some photos of the assembled doll. >>#### Les comparto fotos del muñequito armado.
