Greetings, friends. The other day, I shared with you a figurine of a Weedle, one of the first-generation insect Pokémon. In my opinion, it is one of the cutest Pokémon of this generation, so I wanted to make it to match the Weedle I had made. Es de los Pokémon más bonitos de esta generación en mi opinión, así que quise hacerlo para que hiciera juego cual adorno con el Weedle que había hecho. >> >>Los invito a ver el proceso creativo de esta figurita a continuación:  # Step by step The materials I used were as follows: * Plasticine * Glue * Wire Note that the colors are exactly the same as the original Pokémon, so there was no need to use paint to color the figurine. Instead, I used plasticine throughout and a little glue to strengthen the joints. In the image below, you can also see the little Weedle I made. >># Paso a paso >> >>Los materiales que utilicé fueron los siguientes: >> >>* Plastilina >>* Pegamento >>* Alambre >> >>Fíjense que los colores son exactamente los mismos que tiene el Pokémon original, así que no hubo necesidad de usar pinturas para dar color a la figurita, sino que usé plastilina en su totalidad y un poco de pegamento para darle fuerza a las uniones. En la imagen de abajo también pueden ver al pequeño Weedle que había hecho.  There you can see that I made small green spheres for the different parts of Caterpie's body. I also made small light-colored spheres for the lower part of the body. Once the initial spheres were made, I began to mold each part of the body as individual sections. It looks like I made a whole snake and cut it into sections, but no, I made them all individually. >>Ahí pueden ver que hice pequeñas esferitas se color verde para las distintas partes del cuerpo de Caterpie. También hice pequeñas esferas de color piel clara para la parte inferior del cuerpo. >> >>Una vez hechas las esferas iniciales, comencé a moldear cada parte del cuerpo como secciones individuales. Parece que hubiese hecho una serpiente completa y hubiese cortado en secciones, pero no, las hice todas individualmente. ||| |-|-| Then, using a small piece of wire, I joined all the pieces together, rounding them slightly between each section so that the divisions were visible. I used a little glue between each section to give each piece more support. Finally, I made the initial shape of the head, which is much larger than the largest section of the body—I would say it is twice the size. >>Posteriormente, con ayuda de un trocito de alambre uní todas las piezas, redondeándolas un poco entre cada sección, para que se vieran las divisiones. Usé un poco de pegamento entre cada sección para darle más soporte a cada pieza. >> >>Finalmente hice la forma inicial de la cabeza, que es mucho más grande que la sección más grande del cuerpo, diría que es el doble de tamaño. ||| |-|-| After adding enough glue to secure the piece, I continued to make the features of the head, such as the eyes, mouth, and the horn-like protrusion on its head. As with the other pieces, I used glue to attach the head to the body. >>Después de agregar suficiente pegamento para fijar la pieza, continué haciendo las formas de la cabeza, como los ojos, la boca y esa suerte de cuerno que tiene en la cabeza. Tal como las otras piezas, usé pegamento para fijar la cabeza del cuerpo.  Finally, I cut out a small piece of cardboard to give this Pokémon a base so it could stand upright. >>Finalmente recorté un trocito de cartón para darle una una base a este Pokémon, así podría mantenerse de pie. ||| |-|-| This is how the figurine was completed.
