Greetings, friends. The other day I made a Superman keychain in honor of the movie that was recently released. I liked it a lot because it's a pure comic book movie, it's full of emotion, and it revolves around a very important element: family. I also enjoyed it a lot and it's my favorite Fantastic Four movie so far, as well as one of my favorite Marvel movies. It's not the best for me, but it is one of the best. That's why I felt motivated to make this keychain. I invite you to join me in the creative process of making this keychain. >># Español >>Saludos amigos. Los invito a acompañarme en el proceso creativo de este llavero.  # Step by step The materials I used for this keyring were as follows: * Flexible clay * Paint * Chain and ring * Jewelry wire * Glue * Paper >># Paso a paso >>Los materiales que utilicé para este llavero fueron los siguientes: >> >>* Masa flexible >>* Pintura >>* Cadena y argolla >>* Alambre de bisutería >>* Pegamento >>* Papel  As you can see in the image above, I started by sketching the keychain that I would use as a template to guide me in shaping this keychain. I cut out practically all the pieces I would need to use: two circles, one larger than the other, and a number 4 that would be the center part of the keychain. >>Como pueden ver en la imagen de arriba, comencé haciendo bocetos del llavero que utilizaría como patrones para guiarme en el moldeado de este llavero. >> >>Prácticamente recorté todas las piezas que necesitaría utilizar: dos círculos, uno más grande que otro, y un número 4 que sería la parte central del llavero.  All of the molds you see in the image above are made of paper, as I mentioned earlier. In order to engrave them into the flexible dough, I stretched the material out on a flat surface where I could manipulate it. The flexible dough is not very thick, because I will be using two layers of material. >>Todos esos moldes que ven en la imagen de arriba son de papel, como ya mencioné. In total, there are two layers of this circle, as I said, one smaller than the other. Why the difference in size? Because one will be the blue back part and the other will be the white part that will be on top of the blue one. >>En total son dos capas de este círculo, como dije, uno más pequeño que otro. ¿Por qué la diferencia de tamaño? Porque uno será la parte trasera de color azul y la otra será la parte blanca que estará encima de la de color azul.  The hardest part for me was making the number 4, mainly because of its linear shape and curved corners. It's not easy to do because everything has to be symmetrical. Obviously, it didn't turn out perfect, but at least you can clearly see that it's a 4, and because it's handmade, it has that handmade touch. >>Lo que más me costó fue hacer el número 4, más que todos por su forma tan lineal y curva en las esquinas. No es fácil de hacer por lo simétrico que debe estar todo. >> >>Evidentemente no me quedó perfecto, pero al menos se ve claramente que es un 4 y al ser artesanal, tiene precisamente ese toque de algo artesanal.  This is how the three pieces that make up this keyring turned out. They are still damp, but basically these are the pieces: >>Así quedaron las 3 piezas que componen de este llavero, aún están húmedas pero básicamente estas son las piezas:  Once they had dried a little more, I began to color the pieces that needed color. I used a blue that was as close as possible to the original color of the logo. It wasn't exact, but it was very similar. So, once I had decided on the color, I began to paint the entire background circle, that is, the largest one. >>Ya después que secaron un poco más, comencé a colorar las piezas que necesitaban color. Usé un azul lo más parecido al color original del logo. No fue exacto, pero sí muy parecido. >> >>Así pues, definido el color, comencé a pintar todo el círculo de fondo, es decir, el más grande. ||| |-|-| After the paint had dried a little, I made some grooves in the center of the blue circle to create texture so that I could glue the other white circle on top of it. >>Después que secó un poco la pintura hice algunas ranuras en el centro del círculo azul, para crear textura y que pudiese pegar el otro círculo blanco encima de este.  Finally, I painted the number four with the same blue paint I used for the background circle and let it dry before sticking it onto the circle. >>Finalmente pinté el número cuatro también con la misma pintura de color azul con la que pinté el círculo de fondo y dejé que secara para luego pegarlo en el círculo. ||| |-|-| The last thing I did was attach a small ring to the top of the keyring while it was still wet. At this point, I simply left it to dry. >>Lo último que hice fue colocarle una pequeña argollita en la parte superior del llavero mientras aún estaba húmedo. Llegado a este punto, simplemente lo dejé secar.  ### And that's how the keyring was finished.
