Greetings, friends. The other day I shared a post with you where I made a realistic sculpture of Emberox. Acompáñenme en el breve proceso creativo que compartiré con ustedes.  # Step by step The materials I used for this figurine were: * Plasticine * Wire * Glue * Paint As you can see in the image below, the plasticine I used was similar to gray. It was more of a mixture between white and black, without being completely mixed, as I didn't want it to be a uniform color, since I planned to paint the figurine once it was ready. >># Paso a paso >>Los materiales que utilicé para esta figurita fueron: >> >>* Plastilina >>* Alambre >>* Pegamento >>* Pintura >> >>Como pueden ver en la imagen de abajo, la plastilina que usé fue una similar a gris. Mas bien una mezcla entre blanco y negro, sin terminar de mezclar, pues no me interesaba que quedase un color homogéneo, pues planeaba pintar la figurita una vez estuviese lista.  Okay, with the base material ready, I started making the figurine. To begin making this bust, because it's a kind of bust, I made a shape similar to a dog's head. This is the shape I chose, because I thought it would be a good starting point to give Glaciox another unique shape that would differentiate it from all the dragon busts I've already made. >>Bien, con el material base listo, comencé a hacer la figurita. Para comenzar a hacer este busto, porque es una suerte de busto, hice una forma parecida a la cabeza de un perro. >> >>Esta es la forma que elegí, porque me pareció que sería un buen punto de partida para dar otra forma única a Glaciox y que se diferenciase de todas los bustos de dragones que ya he hecho.  After this, I continued shaping details such as the eyes, the spikes on the jaw, and also the ears, although I only placed these ears temporarily, as I had to attach the horns before permanently fixing the ears in place. The eyes, as you can see in the image below, look huge, but they will end up looking just right. >>Después de esto, continué moldeando detalles como los ojos, las puas que tiene en la quijada y también las orejas, aunque estas orejas solo las coloqué de manera temporal, pues debía colocar los cuernos que tiene antes de fijar permanentemente las orejas en su lugar. >> >>Los ojos, tal como pueden ver en la imagen de abajo, se ven enormes, pero después quedarán como deben ser.  In the image below, you can clearly see that I removed the character's ear so that I could mold wrinkles and other details into the character's skin. I also placed the three horns that the dragon has on the top of its head. After securing each piece in place, I replaced the ear between the spikes on the jaw and the horns on the sides of the top of the head. >>Ya en la imagen a continuación pueden visualizar claramente que le quité la oreja al personaje para poder moldear arrugas y más detalles en la piel del personaje. Además, coloque los tres cuernos que el dragón tiene en la parte superior de la cabeza. >> >>Luego de fijar cada pieza en su lugar, volví a colocar la oreja entre las púas de la quijada y los cuernos laterales de la parte superior de la cabeza. ||| |-|-| That's how the figure was finished, but without being painted. I let the material rest for a while, because plasticine heats up while being molded and the piece becomes soft; therefore, when left to rest, it hardens a little. So after a while, I started painting, using just two colors, blue and white, and the dry painting technique to try to create different shades ranging from blue to white. >>Así quedó terminada la figura pero sin pintar. Dejé que el material reposase un rato, porque la plastilina mientras se moldea se calienta y queda suave la pieza; por lo tanto, al dejarlo reposar, se endurece un poco. >> >>De modo que después de un rato comencé a pintar, usando simplemente dos colores, el azul y el blanco, usando la técnica de pintado en seco para intentar dar distintas tonalidades que vayan desde el azul hasta el blanco.  In the end, the texture of the character's skin ended up looking similar to lapis lazuli stone. I say similar because it has lots of little white dots that give it a more rustic look, but it's pretty cool for an ice dragon. That's how the figurine turned out.
