One of the things I was told most before getting my first highlights was this: being blonde is expensive. Not only because of the hair itself, but because of everything else that comes with hair, hair care is a priority here. If ordinary, virgin, natural hair requires care (washing, moisturizing), blonde hair requires three times as much, since the idea is to have a healthy blonde look, not damaged and split hair. "SPLIT" You comb it, and it splits, whether you like it or not. This usually happens more in the first few days. Applying oils and moisturizers helps a little, but it still splits easily. One of the saddest things about being blonde is when your hair grows out and you see the root growth (it can happen to you), and you mentally prepare yourself to spend all day in the salon. Una de las cosas que más me dijeron antes de realizarme mis primeras mechas fue esto (ser rubia es costoso) y no solo por el hecho de hacerlas, sino de todo lo que conlleva el cabello, el cuidado del cabello acá es prioridad. Si un cabello común, virgen, natural requiere de sus cuidados (lavados, hidrataciones ) el cabello rubio conlleva esto el triple ya que la idea es que se vea un rubio sano y no un cabello todo deteriorado y partido.

"PARTIDO"

Uno lo peina y se parte por más de que uno no quiera, esto suele suceder más los primeros días, aplicarse aceites e hidraciones ayudan un poco a esto pero sin embargo se logra partir con facilidad.

Una de las cosas más tristes de ser rubia es cuando va creciendo el cabello y vas viendo el crecimiento de la raíz (a uno le da de todo) y uno se va preparando mentalmente para durar todo el día en el salón.

Hacerse las mechas con alguíen especializado por supuesto que tiene su valor monetario para que le den al cabello el cuidado que amerita.

¿Ser rubia es costoso? pues... la verdad es que si! Pero también vale la pena.
