Giving a Chance to The Water Magician |EN-ES|

 Isekai is a genre within anime that has become permanent. At least until broader trends shift and fans become oversaturated. For me, Isekai stories evoke a feeling of a second chance and starting fresh with previous knowledge. Not all of them are good, but I mainly enjoy those set in ancient, medieval times. The water magician (Mizuzokusei no Mahōtsukai) is an Isekai I discovered by chance on social media, so I decided to give it a try. It's been fun so far. Let me tell you more about it. >! Para mí, las historias de isekai evocan una sensación de segunda oportunidad y de empezar de cero con conocimientos previos. Ryo is our protagonist; he dies absurdly, as most protagonists for this genre, and has a conversation with an angel explaining his reincarnation. He is allowed a request, so he asks for a peaceful life in a retirement place. He reincarnates at the same age he had, and he is given all he needs for the first months, meaning food, water, shelter, and basic clothes. He is also given a very special ability: to summon and manipulate water. This magic trait sets the core for what the true mission is in this new world. >! I am grateful Ryo is not presented as an overconfident or arrogant person. Some isekai stories take this too far, almost depicting the protagonist as a completely overpowered deity. In The Water Magician, Ryo has a regular start understanding the use of magic in his own way, and procuring everything he needs for his peaceful life. >! Algunas historias isekai llevan esto demasiado lejos, casi representando al protagonista como una deidad completamente superpoderosa. En El Mago del Agua, Ryo empieza a comprender el uso de la magia a su manera y a conseguir todo lo que necesita para una vida tranquila.  Of course, leaving this peacefully in this world won't create any entertaining story, so things start to get complicated as he grows and learn about this world. He happens to find an adventurer named Abel and then decides to accompany him back to his home city. This sets in motion that Ryo has come to do more in this world. He immediately notices the differences between what he is and the rest of the people. I enjoy the discovery element of this plot. We are invited to understand this new world alongside the protagonist. >! [spanish] >Claro que dejarlo en paz en este mundo no creará una historia entretenida, así que las cosas se complican a medida que crece y aprende sobre él. Por casualidad, encuentra a un aventurero llamado Abel y decide acompañarlo de regreso a su ciudad natal. Esto desencadena la idea de que Ryo ha venido a hacer más en este mundo. In terms of animation quality, this title is not the best, but it is decent enough. It is also good to consider that, as an early product, its animation quality can improve depending on how well it performs among the audience. I do enjoy magic spells and the important combat scenes. I do enjoy the deformation effect for a more dramatic feeling in the animation, but here it just looks low-budget. Another important isekai element worth mentioning is the presence of gamer-like mechanics. In the middle of the city, where most of the story unfolds, there is a dungeon with several floors. Adventurers are allowed to explore it according to their ranks. This is one of those things that appear to be cliché but keep working. >! También es bueno considerar que, al ser un producto inicial, la calidad de la animación puede mejorar según su éxito entre el público. Disfruto de los hechizos mágicos y las importantes escenas de combate. Disfruto del efecto de deformación para una sensación más dramática en la animación, pero en este caso parece de bajo presupuesto. ># > Otro elemento isekai importante que vale la pena mencionar es la presencia de mecánicas propias de un jugador. En el centro de la ciudad, donde se desarrolla la mayor parte de la historia, hay una mazmorra de varios pisos. Los aventureros pueden explorarla según su rango. Es una de esas cosas que parecen cliché, pero que siguen funcionando.  The season closed within 12 episodes. It brought peaceful scenarios, combat, drama, and established mysteries to be solved and looked into in the following chapters. I enjoyed it and easily recommend you guys to add it to your lists. If you enjoy the Isekai genre, it will satisfy your inclinations and provide a good experience. >! [spanish] >La temporada terminó en 12 episodios.
